White powder coat would be cheaper and probably more durable. Alot of places that I called would not paint over the chrome and the places that will want to charge alot and most offer no warranty. I would powder coat it.

Yeah powder coating will be the best. If you really want paint get it sand blasted first then take it to a paint shop.

Ok so what are the details for powder coating
Take the bumper in with everything removed from it that you don't want powder coated (No plastic), choose the tone of white you want from their selection, they will sand blast the bumper and then throw it into an oven where the powder coat color of your choice is baked onto the bumper. They will inspect it and clearcoat if desired.

People on here have been paying around $200-$400 for both bumpers powder coated.
I was quoted around $450-$500 for paint!....just to deplate the chrome bumper, sand it, primer it, paint and clear coat it with no warranty.

I'm powder coating mine within the next few months.

They offer hundreds of colors including, flats, satins, gloss, metalics, pearls and candies.

There are places everywhere that do powder coating.

ok awesome. now i just need to find some one here in oklahoma to get it done
Google works for everything. There are probably 20 places right around you. Good luck.

Have you tried listing your bumper for a trade with someone who has a white bumper?

Or trade for any color bumper and have the painted bumper powder-coated ... it may be less money.

powder coating probably wont match the paint
