Hey is there any wire you can crossover or something like that to make my regular low beams into running lights, maybe a wire I can run to a switch to turn them off of I wanted? I have an 06' XE, and I just like the look of running lights. I did a search and I couldn't find what I am looking for... Thanks!

Passenger side fuse box has good acc wires. I think the radio one will do you just fine

not trying to be a smart-a$$ - but what happens if you forget to turn off your "DRL" How is that different from forgetting to turn off you headlights?

Do you want only the headlights on? Or both the headlights and parking lights?

Either or really... Can't have too many lights!

If it's connected to an accessory wire the lights would only be on if the truck is on...

Another good reason I want these running lights is that I have a 1-way remote start, which means I just push a button and hope my truck starts, it has no confirmation if my truck is running or not. The parking lights come on but most all of the time I cant see them... if my headlights were on my life would be easier! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :ftard:

why not use a relay on the parking light wire from the remote starter and trigger both the headlights and parking lights.

Ah - you beat me to it. I was going to suggest a set-up which I used to control my headlights on my previous 4by. Use a relay to catch a trigger-signal from a brake-light wire. That way, the DRLs don't come on until the brake pedal has been pushed. (that trigger signal won't be constant, so you need to make the DRL circuit 'latch'.)

Im pretty sure trucks sold in canada had DRL's? I don't know where I read that but it could be as simple as a ECM flash. I'm pretty sure it was this forum where I read Canada requires DRL's and thats why those titans come from the factory with the low beams always on..
