This sounds like something is binding and breaking every time i leave for work in the morning. It gets better as i drive, although i can still hear it when i turn in at work. It's a single, metallic clunk when i stop and go. Speed bumps make it sound like the front end is falling off. I know i need to replace the pinion seal, but i dont think it would make it sound like that; it didnt before they replaced it the first time.

well I fixed my creaking and popping but ended up finding other issues... figures..

what my fix was the SWAY bar bushings.. Theres a slit in them so you can get them on/off the sway bar easily.. The sway was pressing so hard against the bushing that the crease split causing metal on metal contact on the subframe.. I lubed it with some WD40 and the sound is completely gone (for now). I did this during my 30 min lunch... takes a few seconds so its worth a shot if you wanna try..

fix would be to get new bushings for the sway..or keep lubing the bushings when the creaking comes back...

My other issue is my RC endlinks suck a$$...but thats another fix for another thread..:bangit:

I don't have a sway bar lol. Ruled that one out first.

Stock springs and shocks it was awful. Felt like a boat. It rolls some now, but no ones said anything about it and I'm use to it. Other trucks feel really stiff now.

Yeah I did, but I'm in the process of ruling everything out before that. Sig Sauer 516 is in the works.

Well, I've had this same problem for a LONG TIME on my '04. I guess it's a good thing I haven't gotten around to trying to fix it because it sounds like nothing works. Here is my plan...turn up the stereo and drive it until something breaks. Then I will know what the problem is. One other option is to just give the truck to my son...he is deaf...he will have no problem with the popping noise.

Finally checked my uca bolts and they were loose. Drove 1.5 hrs this morning and no popping!!!!! Appreciate the help guys.

Im not a suspension expert by any stretch of the imagination so help me out here - I was under my truck the other day and had the wife turn the steering wheel while I looked for the noise and I noticed that the LCA's actually move front to back when the wheels turn - actual sliding, not sure if this is normal but if it is how does adding delrin spacers solve or possibly solve this problem?

Thanks for the help

Steve
what you found is inherent to the T the delrins DO fix it though.when looking at the control arm where it mounts to the frame the spacers go between the a arm and the frame one front and one rear.this prevents the a arm from moving front to back.alignment is next

Note i have fixed this issue on about 5 titans and what we found is that after market u joints were installed and that the cross shafts were a bit smaller than o/e changed out joint and issue gone you can feel the clunk we light braking on letting off brake from stop
