Alright so about 3 days ago I installed my bull bar and today I was looking at other Titan's that have them and realized mine is WAY to far off the front of the truck. I THINK.

Maybe one of you guys can help a brotha out! haha

I put the bar through the tow hook holes on the front bumper. Then bolted it up to the 2nd set of frame holes, the first set was too hard to access to get bolts in and I could not get the bolt to go in right! So I tried on the first set of bolt holes (I originally planned on using 4 bolts) and was afraid of cross threading those front 2 holes and gave up for another, warmer, happier day. I did the 2 in the back as tight as possible and the bull bar is tight.

BUT it sticks off the front of the truck about 8-10 inches, you can see in my sig pic I believe, but was I supposed to mount it somewhere else? It just doesn't seem right

Happy Saturday!

This is how mine sat when I had it installed. Hope this helped

I need to look at mine in the morning, it seems like it is a few inches further out. But I could be wrong. Did you have trouble with any of the bolts when you did yours?

No. I didn't. Mine bolted up where the tow hooks bolted too. 2 bolts on each side

Seems like you don't have it pushed all the way back like Vilim says, those front 2 bolts are a PITA to get to, but it just takes some patience and a while laying on your back. Mine sits about the same distance as Rdnjg's.

just rear end a prius and maybe that will push it back just enough :teethmastthe the one you seen on the other titan, was it the same brand bull bar??

That's no 8-10 inches. You must lie to ur wife and she believes you.:D

Looks like the front might be sagging a little. Get those front bolts in and make sure its slid all the way back if you want it a little further back.

Yeah, She always wonders why 8inches on a ruler is so long! Haha

But really I meant 8 from the very front of the bar to the front of the bumper, on review it's 6 inches I think... So I guess it's right I'll shift it back and get those bolts on! Thanks

I have a Smitty Built bull bar and it also set too far forward for my taste. I used some washers in between the bull bar mount and the bolt hole to tilt it up to make it closer and more to my liking. Another great tool to tighten those front bolts is a racheting wrench. I bought one for the install and made it a lot easier. Also had problems with one of the front bolts not wanting to thread correctly.
