Off to start my LT Header and Bpipe install
Very easy install, it took me and a buddy 5 hours. 3 rounded nuts and 2 broken bolts. Autozone has import exhaust studs in stock. Lowes has the nuts.
I think the question was asked earlier how to resolve the rounded nut problem. I'm curious too as I'll have this install coming up soon.
I had a damaged nut remover handy, worked like a charm.

Thinking I may wait till the week after christmas to do mine. Have 11 days off of work so that is a zero pressure time to get them off.
Just a question if the studs get messed up how easy are they to get out? Funny how I never worried abou thtis stuff when I was single, no kids and worked part time. Dam growing up sucks.

Shark,, you officially started your header install on the 7th and should finish the week after Christmas,,,, so around 20 day install time. That's got to be a record

Not sure if it was mentioned, have read so many header threads...lol but get a few extra studs and nuts before you start the job just to be safe.
I'm glad you said that,,, you know the part numbers by chance?? If not I can hit up courtesy parts. Also do you recommend getting all new nuts???? After the dealer replaced my manifolds last Thursday I noticed it looked like they reused the old ones.
Ahh thanks for that BB,, as i was on my way home this afternoon (to finally meet my new JBA LTs for the first time :redblob" ) i stopped by the post office to ship out some 08+ brake upgrade rings for SMOKEE and d@mn if a woman didnt back right into my truck. So now i guess i will be waiting even longer to do the header install :crying: :bangit::bangit::bangit::bangit:
They have the same stud kit at AutoZone for 1/3 the price. Doesn't have the Nissan sticker on it...Lowes has the nuts.

Chevymanrc I did it in less than 20 days...a lift and impacts make it really easy by the way

LMAO ,,, ah i was hoping you would get it done before the 20 day deadline :redblob",,,,, well mine came in yesterday so maybe this weekend i can get on it.. How many of the nuts or studs gave you an issue????
I didnt have any stud damage but did replace about 6 or 8 nuts due to rounded edges and just wanted to have goods one back on there. Its not uncommon to have a stud cross threaded from the factory so having a few extra is nice to have just incase you run into that. Chevy, PLEASE change that "walker bpipe" in your signature...lol..Just messing with ya.

Man I am loving the sound of this thing. From what I can tell no real CIS but I have to have someone run it down the street for me to hear.
That's why you have no CIS...remove all 4 cats....it will be there. I just added 2 resonators to kill that awful sound.
I'm going to run headers Cajun b pipes with cats and the rest factory piping n mufflers.
