Whats up TT!!!
I just got done with a new mod a few minutes ago!
Took me about 2 hours total including a trip to Home Depot. I think i just about had a heat stroke working on this out in this Humidity... LOL
Since i upgraded to a 4" MXP CAI i've been wanting to add a Ram-Air Mod to it! I had previously built one to work with both my AEM & Fujita CAI's since they utilize the same shape air box, but now that i have the MXP their air box is designed differently. So i had do some quick R&D in the Home Depot parking lot to see which combination of PVC pieces i could get to fit in there? LOL It is kind of like playing Tetris with all the different shapes & angles.
Anyway when i got back to my house i dis-assembled my MXP CAI & busted out my box of Misc. old PVC pieces, hose clamps & couplers to see what i could re-use from my last setup? I got my PVC angles in there behind the grille & lined everything up. Drilled my 4" hole in the air box & re-assembled everything. I wanted it to look close to stock & clean! No corrugated drainage tubing under my hood... LOL j/k
Whatever works for ya!
Here's how it came out! SUPER CLEAN!!! :eyebrow:
I ran out of memory on my camera so i only took a couple pics. I still have to take it all back apart & paint it all, but i think it came out looking great!
The best part is it only cost me $15 total!
What do you guys think???
Also i'm about to order a Pre-Flter this evening for my MXP just in case i get a little water in the air box.
