Doing a build I have $700 and need Components/coaxial speakers, possibly a 4 channel amp, and a 10" sub. I already have a sealed box that's perfect airspace for a Skar Audio or Sundown D series. I also already have a Kicker ZX300.1 wired up and a Pioneer AVH-P3400DVD head unit.

I'm not brand partial and only want to do this once. I'm not real strict on my budget either but would prefer it be close (ie. $750 won't keep food off the table). I've scoured the forumn, read the rewiews and surfed the stores. I will be doing the install myself, so that cost is $0.00.It's time to buy!!!

So if you were in my situation how would you spend?

I have the sundown audio sa6.5cs components in front with some RF coaxials in the back for rear fill. They're running passive off a sundown sax100.4 D and they sound really nice for the price. I think with sound deadening in the doors and different tweeter placement it could sound even better. If you look around you can find the sundown amp used for $250 or maybe less. I scored and got the amp and components for a sweet price.

I choose to go at this alone, no disrespect to James. After continuing my research Shipping was going to kill my budget! Living in Hawaii, has it's perks however, shipping prices isn't one!!! Most places either wouldnt ship to Hawaii or for a sub they wanted 70 bones for priority mail. Amp was $50 to ship ect.

I shopped local the selection sucked and the prices weren't any better. So after pulling an all nighter I was led to Amazon. More specifically Amazon Prime.

I picked up an Alpine MRP-F300 4 channel Amp for $130 (75W X4 @ 2ohm, insert in box at local shop amp was tested at 85W @ 2 ohm)

Infinity Reference 6030cs 6.5 components for $80 (2 ohm, 90W RMS)

Infinity Reference 6032cf 6.5 coaxial speakers for the rear $50 (2ohm, 60W RMS)

Rockford Fosgate Punch P2D4 10" for $70. (300W RMS)

6 ga. Wiring kit for $30

Dash kit $30

Speaker adapters for $7

All shipping 2 day air for FREE! I certainly understand you get what you pay for, I believe I went midlevel but not high end. I'm okay with that as this is strictly for my listening pleasure, not competitions. I would love to of gone with Sundown or CDT but with no local dealer I wasn't willing to pay outrageous shipping.

With the money I saved I plan to buy a table saw, router, and clamps so I can build a sweet ported enclosure for my sub and sell my sealed box. Everything arrives Monday and Tuesday so I'll be busy this week!

Sweet make sure you post some pics along the way and glad you were able to stay in your budget in this economy every dollar counts

Recieved my last item in the mail today... the PAC SWC, seems complicated.

So my truck is my daily driver which means I gotta put it back together every time I work on it. I'm also working around the schedule of my two small kids so this may take me two weeks or so!

Anyone have any order of precedent for the install? I've already installed my head unit, so naturally I'm thinking amp for highs then run all speaker wire before removing the door pannels. I'll snap some pics next stage.

You can buy my Polk audio coxals MMC6500 6.5" (new) that I purchased for my Infiniti G35 and never installed.
Already purchased everything, turned it into a build thread instead of starting a new thread
