Ran Mobil 1 5w-30 for the first 85,000 miles of owning my titan, then switched to Mobil 1 0w-40 for 7500 miles, immediately after i switched to Castrol Edge Syntec (black bottle) 5w-30, and the engine ran smoother, less valvetrain noise and overall feel is better with the Castrol vs both Mobil 1 weights

Will try Rotella T6 5w-40 full syn next time.

I'd love to see someone drive their titan 25,000 miles on any full synthetic oil and get a UOA... Try doing that with different cams as well... 5w-30 is gonna shear down something bad..lol.

Rotella is a diesel oil. You might do some research before using that.

AMSOIL guarantees their Signature Series can run 25,000 normal miles in a Titan without oil failure. If the oil does fail, they pay parts and labor. They have as long as Titans have been made. Pennzoil never has...

I have asked you at least twice for a 25k UOA for Amsoil on a Nissan engine. I take it you don't have one...just as suspected.

You got bounced from BITOG for the same stunt.

You make it sound like engines are failing left and right due to sub Amsoil products.

You are an embarrassment to the company.

The sharks smell blood in the water, so it should be fun to watch from here.

I've never seen AMSOIL Signature 5w30 "shear down something bad". If that is a real concern, I'd contact AMSOIL to see if 10w30 would be allowed in your expected weather temperature range, as it would contain no viscosity improvers to shear.

I never said I had one, just that AMSOIL recommends and warranties it for 25,000 normal miles/1 year. However you said ULTRA performs "hands down" better than AMSOIL, yet you don't have anything to back that up. I did find a fleet of New York City Taxi Cabs that ran AMSOIL a 60,000 mile AMSOIL oil change, tore the engines down, and all was well Amsoil oil gets put to the test using New York Taxi Cabs. Different oil used per taxi cab. Synthetic motor oil comparison with conventional oil. . Likely a better and tougher test than 25,000 normal miles on a Nissan followed with a UOA. Here is a 40,000 mile AMSOIL UOA for a Honda S2000, which I believe is the longest UOA for a gasoline engine there. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2634629#Post2634629 . Blackstone recommends continue using without changing and that it might never need changing.

I never said that. I said follow the owners manual recommendations and all will be fine. However if you want to save time and money, extend your oil changes with warranty backed AMSOIL.

You are an embarrassment to the company.
Hardly. AMSOIL called me this morning and congratulated me for signing up a 70,000 vehicle fleet account.

Easy grandpa......I have no doubt you have changed oil more then I have...Your what 60? and I'm 30 so ya you got me in the years category....And I'm always taking shots at people lol your crazy gramps.....awww you are still sore about being banned from a dumb facebook page cause you couldn't get YOUR stabs in there with YOUR factual DATA.... As for the oil I'm sure amsoil works great for you as I said it looks really clean...that wasn't a stab...the dealer comment was... sincerely your DIC-TATOR

ROFLMAO, apparently math wasn't your best subject, well come to think of it, I don't think any of them were. I will give ya one though, ya got half your name right. Albeit you couldn't spell it right.

MilenkoGT,
Please tell me what you think of the Rotella T6

4mula1fan,
Try again cheif. Go read the bottle. Its a heavy duty, extreme temp, motoroil, recommended for any vehicle. Its a Group IV true synthetic. Its great for bikes with wet clutches because it does not have friction modifiers.

Where did you get that, Advanceautoparts.com? And I bet you trust every Joe-schmo working the counter there too.
Once again, go read the bottle or the manufacturer's website. I even took the pleasure of finding it for you!

Not only is API CJ-4 approved, it is approved for: CH-4, SM, SL, SH, ACEA E9, ECF-3, ECF-2, CES 20081, DDC 93K218, WSS, M2C17-E, JASO DH2 MA (Pretty much all Japanese engines), Mack Eo-0, MAN3275, and VDS-4.

I agree with you, Most of these are Diesel ratings, That does not make it a DIESEL ONLY motor oil!
Did you read the website yet? Or are you that stubborn...Here I'll help you again:

APPLICATION GUIDE
Shell Rotella T6 engine oils are suitable for use in many on- and off-highway heavy-duty
applications. They are particularly effective in modern low-emission, heavy-duty engines, especially
those with exhaust after-treatment devices operating in extreme hot and cold conditions.

Haven't you heard? Shell is the worst oil you can buy. Better get some Amsoil before you roone your engine.

Forget how well Rotella performs in Subaru motors..those uos's are just wrong. A 4 ball test is the only way to find out.

I can just hear your engine wearing as I type. Better get some Amsoil most Ricky Tick.

Hurry.

WElcome to a forum, you should already know this by now, especially here. Folks don't do research here, it is whatever a few say, and the flock follows. You should know by now, facts don't matter, it comes down to one thing for people too lazy to look things up and that is "my daddy used it". Many are still that age here, and don't do the research. I use what I use for the simple facts of the research, and the experience of using it. It is extremely hard to change the philosophy of "daddy used it" here. These debates go on and on and on, those that try it won't go back, others have opinions based on what someone else said rather than researching facts and tests.
