just giving head ups about this when and got a oil filter for my 05 titan, i was told that WIX fliter for 2012 titan fits all years (04- at least until the update on 12's) titans it's bigger and has a part in so you don't get the noise from the filter

Never heard this, but will check the part numbers when I get to work.

If you want a bigger filter, Wix 51347, is what I have been running for 7K miles. Mainly it holds another 1/2 Quart of oil.
Yes, I have changed my oil, around 5K.

I have never had noise from any of the oil filters I have run in 160K+ miles I have driven in my Titan.

If you hang on to the undercarriage while someone else is driving, you can hear a slight noise from the smaller filter. Glad we finally found a fix.

I change my filter about every 3,500 miles, and I have used the larger and the smaller filter. I doubt it really matters as long as you are changing it regularly. As for this noise...I have no idea

That 51568 cross referenced for the K&N HP-1004? Anyone know if that's correct? Going to give it a shot

Best I could really do at the time. But here's a couple of it installed. Had already put the skid plate back on.
