The wiring harness is up there. It has to be. It's way up under the dashboard above the parking brake. Move the driver's seat back as far as possible, then recline the seat. Now get in the seat with your head in the foot well and your feet on the head rest. It's wrapped in a bundle with a harness at the end of the wires.

So after searching and searching and not finding the help I needed I landed on this old post. Hoping somebody sees this and can help me out.

I've installed the p3 and all lights work on the trailer. However my trailer breaks don't work. Do I have a blow. Fuse somewhere or could the battery on the trailer be bad or what.

I'm lost at this point and don't know where to start. Please help.

Do you have a test light?

Test the signal at the truck. I am not sure which pin, but I but you can google to find a diagram. If you get a signal at the pin when you hit the brake, it is on the trailer.

Also, there are a few relays for the towing system. Could be a bad relay or fuse as well.

I would start at the trailer connector though.

Even if the battery on the trailer was bad you would still have brakes. The battery should only be for the break-away system and while those batteries do need to be charged and do go bad they aren't used during normal braking.

Ok. Sounds like I'll start at the connector then move onto the relays.

That's 2 under the hood and 1 under the dash right?

And now that you say that about the battery I had a Homer Simpson moment as I knew that. Not sure why I brain farted that one. Maybe it's age. But thanks for the reminder.

I don't know where the relays are located. My Titan came with them and I've never had to find them.

If you know that the trailer lights work on another vehicle then start looking at fuses/relays. If you're not sure then hook the trailer to another (working) vehicle to see if the lights work with that vehicle. It may not be the Titan.

I just hooked up my brake controller Activator 2 ( Draw tite) and when I push the brake I only get a single dot ( . ) in between where the numbers should be!
I don't have the trailer hooked up so is this why? Does the trailer need to be hooked up?

Yes & yes .....

Is the Prodigy still the BC to go with? Sorry for bumping the an oddly, but goodie thread.

My Prodigy brake controller still works great!

Old thread but relevant issue. I have a 2017 SV CC 4x4 that did not originally have the towing package. Installed the Tekonsha Voyager with adapter harness to the factory connection near Ebrake. I have purchased and installed the Hopkins 7 way adapter and the Curt relay kit required for the trailer lights/brakes.

I have all lights working but no trailer brakes. I have tested the harness under the dash and seem to have 0 power. Controller is lifeless as well. Pretty stumped. I included pictures of the relays and fuses. Everything seems to be populated where it should be. Any ideas are welcome.
