My Zoomers resonated exhaust tip (lifetime warranty) has rusted thru and ejected the resonated core onto the roadway. Zoomers will not replace it for a new one. They claim to be a "new" company - and are not helping past customers. Who makes a replacement that works well these days? - I need a 3" inlet - don't care about outlet size as long as its bigger than 3" and looks good. Any suggestions? Prefer a weld on or clam on style (No Bolt on - they tend to fall off eventually on me)

Scribed for info. My bolt on reso tip's tabs snapped so I am in the need of one too. Here is a link to the only other ones besides zoomers that I have heard of.

You would have to get an adapter made, but just about any exhaust shop could do that with ease. Heck I bet you could find that adapter at most auto parts stores also. Our stock tail pipe is 2.5" and that tip is a 3" inlet.

Well I just checked my stock tail pipe in the garage and to my surprise the portion after the last hanger is actually a 3" OD. It is 2.5" at the flange to the hanger then it jumps to 3". The stock system I have is off an 11' so if I were you I would just go throw a tape on yours to verify. I don't know if this newer tail pipe is a bit different. If your tail pipe is the same then that tip will most certainly work on a stock tail pipe. Sorry for the confusion I never noticed it was larger at the last 12" of tail pipe.

OK - The new Tip came today as promised and I welded it onto my T - sounds much better than no tip - but still not a quiet and drone reducing as the old Zoomers which is no longer available. It seems to be a well made and good looking tip. Much nicer than any of the clamp on tips available locally. I will have to be happy with it as its the best I can find so far.
