Help w/LE Seat Color Choice?

Hi all, I am new to the Titan community, infact I will be ordering my 06 LE CC 4x4 in Granite the 1st week in March. My question is: Of the two choices for interior leather; Steel (light gray) or Graphite (dark gray), do any members know of any problems with either, or have personal preferences that might help me make a choice. I am at the "6 of 1, half dozen of the other" stage. Light will be cooler, and will blend with the cabin better, dark, will show less dirt. I did see one post online about one of the colors not holding up to use, but I can't find that thread, and don't remember which color was the issue.

Thanks for any help/advice you can throw my way.

well no advice or extra info here but I got the graphite and really like it

..hasnt staind or anything yet and Ive had it since the end of 04... :cheers:

really easy to keep clean but I guess the leather stuff should be no?

I have the Graphite leather in my 06 LE, and its great. In fact, I always get the darkest possible interior color because it does tend to be easier to clean and never looks dirty. I was very impressed with the Graphite color from Nissan, it almost looks dark brown to me in some lighting situations. Yes, it may be a little warmer than the steel color, but you can get a white exterior like me to help with that. As far as longevity, both should hold up very well.

I have the Granite exterior color and the graphite interior color. It looks really good. I also like darker interiors. Doesn't show the dirt as much. But you are getting leather so it is easy to clean either way, but I just like the darker color.

Got the Galaxy Black with the graphite and isnt really hot or anything...if it becomes a bother u can always use the key fob to lower the windows to let out some hot air in the summer o buy a remote start :cheers:

The Fleet manager says it'll take 30-45 days for my order to arrive, I would have taken one off the lot, but every truck was packed to gills with @#$%. Nissan is overloading the LE's with stuff (DVD/NAV/Tow, etc.). I think they could sell more vehicles if they backed off on the extras.

isnt that the reason for an LE?? all the extras?

I wanted the steel, but looked for months and couldn't find a smoke colored truck I liked with it. I finally settled for graphite. I haven't found it to be too hot, but I'm not really impressed with the leather quality in general (regardless of color).

I vote for steel. It will make your truck a bit more unique, since it doesn't seem to be as common.

All of the extras, except the DVD/NAV/TOW. I wanted leather, chrome front/rear, and the other stuff you get with the LE. The Nav system Nissan uses pretty much sucks. compared to Garmin, or Toyota's in-dash units. I hate the large Tow mirrors, and the Off-Road package includes most of what you get with the Tow package. In addition, my daughter is spoiled enough, and doesn't need the DVD player

Don't get me wrong, I plan to mod the hell out of the truck, just not with over-priced mfg add-ons.

I think you made a good choice. I had the same delema just a few weeks ago, and ended up going with the granite. I love it so far and am very confident its the right color. Also had to order out of state to get teh setup I wanted. Again, same problem with all the LEs being overloaded with NAV, etc.

pi3yeargrad : Not to hijack this post, but I didn't think remote start was available for the Titan because of the chip in the key. Something about it requiring a bypass? Where do we get remote start???
