I just installed Pro4x fenders on my 2010 CC. Attached are some pics after install. This was very easy to do and I highly suggest anyone thinking about doing this to do it! I had one stubborn bolt that had to be man handled and ended up stripping so I went and purchased a replacement and now is good to go!

Should work. Dont know how many clips you are going to be using. I only used screws (used tape for the rest) where the mud flaps attached when I put them on my 04. You will need the pro4x/LE mudflaps if you want to keep them, since they are wider to accommodate the flares.

You will need to snip the alignment clips on the flares, and then run a new (if used flares) run of 3m double sided tape.

how strong is that 3M tape? will it hold up through different weather car washes etc etc..
Mines has lasted about 2.5 years, although I might need to redo them soon. My tape got all hard and kinda shrunk, probably from california heat. I bought the 3m brand double sided trim tape from autozone.

Ok, so I prepped my fender flares for install. Got them all sanded up and painted to get rid of any scratches, and I went to install. Started with the rear drivers side as I figured it would be the hardest. Anyway I did a soft install lined everything up and I noticed in the rear none of the factory screws lined up with the flares. See attachments, where the screws are on the back seems to a notch cut out, or no screw where the hole is at all. This goes for the driver side and passenger rear. The fronts seem to line up just fine and have all the screws in the right places and shouldn't be a problem. Anyone have any suggestions on how to install the rears? Glad I started with the rear and not the front or my T would be looking funny.

I just looked at mine and the drivers side rear well doesn't have any screws holding it on, just the tape. The small door piece has 2 screws + tape. Its been on there a couple years and is just starting to loosen up but in no danger of falling off. You could always add a few self tapping screws just to keep it in place.

Really? Just tape.. I don't know I haven't used the 3M tape, I kind of don't want to trust it.. but I guess everyone has had good success with it. I personally got the 10# tape, that should be more than enough to hold a plastic fender on.

Do you always hand wash your truck? Do you ever use the drive thru car washes? I am afraid of the fenders getting ripped off!

I do not use automatic car washes. I've always thought they did a crappy job and every time my wife comes home from one, there is some form of damage to her car.

You should be good for at least a few years if you apply it correctly. I use a pressure washer quite often as well and no problems.

Good to know! I always wash my truck myself anyway.. just wondered how tuff this 3m **** was.

I have had them for a few years. Been through North East weather and about 50 car washes and knock on wood the 3m tape has held up perfect.

I drilled a few holes in the wheel well where the screw holes didn't line up and just 3m tape on the body. Also my flares came with 3m tape already on them from the dealer? I added some more where I cut the body tabs off.
