I test drove both before I bought my crew, and I couldn't tell a difference.

I haven't owned both but driven both quite a bit. You should notice a difference only between off-road and non off-road equipped trucks but KCs and CCs ride the same to me. The CC may weigh a little more but....not enough to make it different than the KC. I can also tell you that I personally prefered the ride of the Titan CC to the Armada. I'd be surprised to hear that you could tell the difference between the KC and CC. Go drive em'!

I read an article months ago, and according to the test driver, the kc road better at bouncy highway speeds than the cc. Oh, he tested it on the LA expressways.

I lived in L.A. for about 10 years and unless they test drove it at 3am. on a tuesday highway speeds would have been about 6 mph.

Thanks I do plain on going to drive one as soon as I get a chance but its about 90 miles to my nearest dealer. From what I hear here I dont think their will be much of a difference.

A Longer wheel base will always gives slightly smoother ride, "BUT" I dont even know if there is a wheelbase diff? I didnt look at the specs. And as others pointed out it could be so close its hard to even feel.

The wheelbases are exactly the same, the crew cab probally puts a little more weight on the back wheels but shouldn't be enought to make much of a differance.

I drove both the KC and the CC and they felt the same I ended up buying the KC .

I found that article, but It was a notation about a 4x4 compared to a 2 wd, not like I earlier thought.

Ride quality is good in most situations, though we found a rippled, well-traveled section of Interstate 405 in Los Angeles that generated an uncomfortable harmonic in a 4WD model. A 2WD Crew Cab we drove seemed to offer a better ride.

I did test drive both and was on the freeway during both. I did not notice anything different about the drive

just a FYI in LA they are freeway's. And the bouncy part is right, a truck driver told me they do that to keep the big rig truck drivers awake. You will find sections of those usually every 15 miles or so.

That's not true.. around 10am on the 405 you can get upto 80mph.

Right, the 4X4 will have a rougher ride than he 4X2. CCs and KCs however should be about the same. Their identical underneith.
So 4X4 will be rougher than the 4x2 and 4x4 offroad will be rougher than the regular 4x4.Right?I have a 4x2 so I might go plain 4x4 because offroad would probably be to rough for my taste.Thanks.

It seemed to me when I test drove(maybe it was my imagination) an XE CC 4x4 with no OR and an SE KC 4x4 w/ OR, that the OR truck had a rougher ride but felt much more sporty with less body roll. I am used to driving small, cars, sports cars and 4x4 trucks so stiffer riding vehicles don't bother me much.

If you like more responsive handling, you may want to check out the OR just for the heck of it.

Honestly speaking, if you plan to keep and use the OEM wheels I would indeed get the Off-Road package just so you can get the 17" wheels. I have had both the 18" and the 17" OEM set up on my truck, and to me the ride and the steering feel was way better with the 17", but then again, a good portion of that boils down to the actual tires...

Whatever you decide to go with, I have found that adjusting the tire pressure to 30 psi cold and adding a five gallon bucket of sand right near the tailgate make the long ride on rough freeways soooo much better.

I have 34 psi in my tires now and the low air pressure light is on at what psi is it supossed to come on.

I believe the sensors are set for 28-29 psi. If you have a light on your pressure guage is faulty or you have a bad sensor. I would purchase a digital guage to be sure. Adjust pressure when cold, the pressure will go up between 2 and 4 psi after traveling.
