Anyone ever install a satellite radio (Sirius Sporster) receiver in their Titan? I'm looking to 'hard wire' the power so that I dont need the cigarette lighter adapter. From what I understand from the installers at Besy Buy, they use the cigarette adapter that comes with the unit, and cut the adapter end off. I'm just not sure how or where to splice the wires after doing that. I'm concerned about connecting it the right amp and the fuse that is typically found in the adpter end.

Any cool set up's out there you can share? Right now I use a cup holder mount (which works great) but thought about mounting it to the dash. Possibly the area where the NAV screen normally goes. I would also love to spice into the AUX input (inside the dash) so that I dont have to have a cable running to the dash AUX input... forget FM transmitters, they suck. Direct AUX is the only way to go.

Any ideas or pics are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What chu talkin bout Willis!

i mounted my sportster where the nav would go i posted some pics on here just do a search. I also ran the atenna down through the third brake light and down along floor of drivers seat and then up through the dash. I do use the plug though.

I mounted my Starmate in the Nav screen location, and ran the power wire to my center console and hard wired it. It was to tight trying to hard wire it to the dashes plugs, so i hooked it into my center console since it turns on and off with the ignition.

Whatever works...
