:deadcow: amateur video of our Ocotillo Wells dawn patrol... http://www.titantalk.com/forums/605849-post38.html
yeah, predominantly hard packed with sand all around and when we did get into the harder stuff like climbs and such, i had to put the camera down, so no evidence of of us careening through the real rough sh!t or of me getting stuck, backing into a HUGE a$$ rut, or falling into a another rut almost putting my titan sideways. next time i'll be sure to have it affixed to something much like a police cruiser has their's! hahaha!! but yup, the video hides what the terrain really was like! that's the terrain, long-travel setups like!! me need long-travel!!!Brundy said:Pretty cool hooli! I know video hides stuff, but looked 2wdable mostly. Did you get into harder stuff? If so, is there video? Keep it coming.
oh ok....forgot to give Tillery and HondaRider227 their props for pulling our arses out of the sticky situations we got ourselves into!!! you guys rock!!tillery444 said:Stuck? What is this thing you call stuck!
couldn't hold the camera and steer since the terrain on the climbs was pulling the steering wheel left and right. had to set the camcorder down! there's next time though! couple weeks boys??d0va said:it looks like alot of fun... where the video of the hard stuff...
LOL!!!! i seem to recall a blacked-out 4dr titan trying to tackle a sand dune with no momentum and getting himself "STUCK". as a matter of fact i have that on video but i edited it out so as to not embarass the owner of said truck!tillery444 said:Stuck? What is this thing you call stuck!

yes, it is a novice video relative to your expert desert running videos........kartman said:You really need to edit out the long shots of the dash, get a stable mount and zoom out.
i will never achieve the mastery of videotaping and video editing like the kartman, cause i'm a lazy@ss when it come to that sh!t, but yes - the tips of getting a stable mount zoomed out would greatly improve the quality! what i'd love to do is hire a helicopter video crew to video tape us!! that would be fvcking badazz!!!kartman said:Just offering some tips to make it more watchable, not being a ****.
wow, you fooled me Kartman! your video was awesome!! anyhow, i hate having to do it, but at the same time i like to have some memories of the sh!t i do so i do it! if that makes any sense... still trying to figure out how to mount it for the next time? how'd you mount yours? got any pics?kartman said:I am definitly a rookie at vids, if you think those are good you should see the pros. Also if you keep doing it you should learn stuff and get better each time you do it.
