a friend of mine with an inferior brand of vehicle has noted his vehicle yaws a little when towing with a heavy load (big boat) that started after he put his lift kit on, nothing unstable or dangerous just a little tendancy to wander. i am about to put on a ProComp 6 in lift kit on my 05 4X4 CC LE. Has anybody else had this experience?:paranoid:

What's a yaw??
If you drilled a hole down thru the middle of the roof all the way thru the floor toward the ground and then put a steel rod thru the holes, then pivoted the truck left and right on that rod...that's Yaw.
All vehs can Pitch(nose up, nose down), Roll(like when you corner and the truck tilts left or right) and Yaw.

The first thing I would check is low tire pressure, that will cause the truck to wiggle...What size and load ratings are your tires?

Must be in or has been in aviation. No one else I know uses the word yaw. Could also be to much tonque weight causing the yaw.

I'm a licensed A&P mechanic....so I speak Yaw...

Yaw is side to side motion. I'm in aviation too. Wind would help out with the yaw too carrying a load.
