Picked up the new 08 today!!!!

Well after 6 1/2 weeks since I ordered it, it has finally arrived!!!!
2008 CC LE 4x2 with everything but DVD in Dessert Stone with Almond interior.


Stay tuned for pics. I have taken a few and will post them when I find the time.

After only about 15 miles of driving it seems as the seats are a lot more comfortable and the ride is much smoother.

Truck looks real nice. That grass in the yards looks nice too. Much nicer than a yard full of rocks. Congratulations.

Well, I had planned on mowing yesterday, but picking up the truck and stuff took precedent (sp?). I might would prefer rocks. :)

I ordered this color without ever seeing it until yesterday. My brother lives outside of Jackson, MS and they had one there. He told me in was his favorite color so I trusted his judgement. I like the color more than I thought I would!!!!! I was wanting Timberline, but it turned out to be almost black and I dont want swirl marks and it to always look dirty.

Sweet color choices. I have to warn you though.... this almond interior is very touchy about what it allows in without staining. I now refer to it as the peanut butter interior. I got a steering wheel cover from Wallyworld. It helps for that part anyway. Seat covers are going to have to come into play and soon, as well as those catch all floor mats.

Looks awesome. Good luck with it. See isn't Desert Stone a hot color!

I like that house you have there!!!

I almost played baseball at Oklahoma Christian, but decided to go for a bigger school closer to home. (this was almost 10 years ago) Isn;t that in Edmond??

Yes is is the oem wood and looks a lot better than I thought it would.
After having a loaded out 04 for almost 3 years, I would have never thought I would have been this impressed, but I love this new 08 a lot better than the 04; and I never had any issues with mine except 1 brake fix.

The seats are nicer and softer, the rider is better, seems the engine has more power, love the 20 wheels, inside is much better quality, etc, and I love the almond interior 10x more than that dark greay leather in the 04.
