I just ordered 2inch blocks off of ebay, but they aren't angled, should I go ahead and get and order shims before I put them on?

I would, I put 2" blocks on and had a very bad vibration, changed them out to 1.5" blocks and haven't had a vibration since.

Try em first and see. I've never had vibration with any block. Seems like some trucks do and some don't.

I think im having the same problem. I put 2 inch aluminum blocks from autozone and now on take off I have a chatter like my rear end is loose then when I get to about 10 mph it goes away.but it does it every single time i take off from a stop. I cant figure it out. And then when I put it in reverse and I step on the gas to back out in a hurry it pops. Any suggestions what my problem could be. Anyone having similar problems

I ran 2" PRG blocks for IDK 6-7 months did get a driveshaft spacer. I am 4x4,,,, and the bilstein 5125's stopped the clunk from the H-D's from bottoming out.LOL

I have a 2010 2wd, and I had non tapered blocks at first and it felt like my drivetrain was going to explode. I had bad vibrations. Swapped for tapered blcks and it was like night and day. Traction bars didn't hurt either.

seems to be a hit or miss thing and /or trail and error with everyones trucks. I had a bad vibration decelerating from about 35-30. added a 2.5 degree shim and it went away.....however now when accelerating between second and third gear, ive got a slight vibration. its livable and not too bad but I can still tell its there. maybe 2.5 degrees was too much? I dunno....hence the trial and error part. might try a 2 or 1.5 down the road.

Those that have the vibration when slowing down is common, it's part of the engine assisted braking system.

Awesome thanks guys. I think my buddies hooking me up with some 2inch tapered blocks that hes not using. Im gunna throw those on and see what happens. Just quick question where could I get those shims at? And how do they stay in the block area without popping out do they sit in the pin area? And another off topic question whenever I make full locked turns and im accelerating I head a nasty popping noise almost like my tires are rubbing against the frame or something but I still have 265's with a 6inch lift so thats not possible. I was thinking the rack because I cant think of anything that would make a constant noise like that.

i got my shims at 4wheelparts. theres a "button" or tab on them that seats them in place when torqued down. as far as the popping noise, I get that sound too every so often. not sure what it is and it does sound awful. my old frontier would do that as well. I chalk it up to the sound of Nissan greatness.lol
