My local Nissan dealer has the exact Titan I lusted for last year:

2004 Titan SE King Cab (demo model with 85 miles on it)

white with gray interior

Tow Package

Offroad Package

'Stereo' Package (6 CD instead of 1 CD, maybe part of 'Popular' Package)

Utility Bed Package

'Popular' Package (adjustable pedals, audio controls on steering wheel, 8 way power drivers seat)

List is $29,685, they're asking $22,699 for it... Is this a good price?

Sounds good to me. If that's what they're asking, then they may sweeten it a bit for you. Good luck, I hope you get it.

Take in all the current TSBs for it:

Then, make them change all the fluids over to synthetic and change the rear diff cover to the '05 with the aluminum fins. That should cover the bases outside of a complete top to bottom front to back vehicle inspection before you drive it off the lot.

Good luck!!

85 miles is not a demo. When I bought mine (new, not a demo) it had 120 miles on it. Demo's usually have 3,000-5,000 miles on them.

Anyway, sounds like a really good deal. If you like it, buy it.

Yeah, if that's the truck you want you better jump on it. 85 miles is nothing, and even if is sold as a demo it will still be titled as new.

16 'go for it' responses in 10 hours... It kind of sounds like this 'demo' Titan might just be a good deal! I guess I'll call my salesman tomorrow...

85 miles sounds great. I feel pretty lucky, mine had 8 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. See if they will still give you a rebate (maybe a coin holder?)

I think the dealer is calling it a Demo rather than a '04 Left Over. It's just marketing. Either way it sounds like a good deal. Go for it if it's exactly what you are looking for.

Good luck.

Actually, the dealer didn't call it a demo, I did. I guess it's really a '04 Left Over' with a few miles on it...

The games begin! I have good news, and bad news...

Bad news, I called my salesman, who said that truck sold about an hour after I left!

Good news, the salesman says it looks like he should be able to get me almost the same truck from another dealer. Two differences: this truck will have the Rockford Fosgate audio, and may cost almost a thousnd more. Needless to say, I'm telling him I may buy it, if he'll sell it to me for around $22.5k...
