I am a long time Nissan owner. I (and my kids) have bought 20+ cars from one dealer and currently own the 2017 Titan and a 2020 Nissan Murano SL. I found the engine knocking issue at 66k miles and the short block was recently replaced. When I received the vehicle back the heat did not work and then about a week later it started throwing codes. P2082, P2080, P0545, P0547, P0544, P0548. I just received a call from the dealer and the news is failure of the exhaust sensors bank 1 and bank 2. Cost to replace $800. I was also having a problem with the sonar backup sensor (unrelated to the short block situation) and replacement of one sensor plus the wiring harness $1,200. This is also not covered by the original 5 year 100k warranty nor the extended warranty. They are going to see what they can do but I find it hard to believe that the exhaust temperature sensors just happened to fail at the same time the engine block was replaced. Anybody else out there had a similar situation?
I am pretty disgusted with Nissan at this point...not sure I will be a long term Titan owner.
