I went to test drive a tundra. Kinda. Drove it in lot and manager came out said Toyota came out with a sensor recall for safety sense. Can’t drive till sensor is fixed. Anyways. Going to test drive a titan on Monday. Was wondering what you guys paid. I was quoted 42k for a 19 pro4x with utility package($2,000). Msrp is 51,040

I'd say $10k under MSRP is a good goal for negotiation. Since I bought mine closer toward the end of the model year, I was able to get my $54k MSRP pro4x for $42k. Since the 19's are still relatively new I'd say you're in the ballpark.

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like you got a loaded 2018 pro4x. Did you get ventilated seats and birds eye camera ?
Yessir, and the OEM LED foglights. I'd recommend those options wholeheartedly.
Awesome. I tried buying a 19 titan pro4x loaded. With ventilated and birds eye. They wouldn’t come below 47k. That’s with all incentives. And they said I would have to finance thru Nissan. Standard apr.

Unless you’re misinterpreting what they said, you pick the incentives available or 1.9, you can’t have both. They can’t tell you who to finance it through, you can ask him to call Nissan corporate while on speakerphone and they absolutely won’t do that. It’s amazing how scummy the industry is.
Good luck, I’m sure you’ll get it sorted out.
I got $9,000 off and 2.9% for 72 months but prepay enough to kill it in well under 60 months.

Sales called me today. And I confirmed. Either 1.9 or incentives. I said I want all incentives. He said ok but I’d have to finance with Nissan at standard rate. Around 4.9apr. I said no thanks. It doesn’t make sense. They are trying to tell me I have to stick with nissans special apr or standard one way or another. I’ve been going on cars.com and been seeing a lot of new 2018s out of state.Titan pr for 42k. Titan pro4x with utility for 32.5. Titan sl for 39k. These are 14-17k off msrp. I asked sales if this was legit. Told me I’d never get those prices beciause I probably wouldn’t qualify. Any one get this type of big discount without trouble?

Usually those huge discounts vaporize when you show up and it’s down to time to sign. Keep this one thing in mind, they NEED your money more than you WANT their truck, if your credit score is good you can go anywhere. One other point is in a negotiation, the first person to speak loses so go in state what you want and never be afraid to get up and walk, they don’t want to see $40-50k+ leave the property.
At one point I had five new car loans at the same time. This is one area I’m well versed in.

It’s why it’s called a “come on” price.
Those offers are with every possible incentive tacked on, are you a recent college grad, in the military, do you belong to the teachers union etc, it’s basically impossible to fit all the categories but it does allow them to offer it even through nobody can qualify. They want you in the chair, they prefer not to do it over the phone, they even play a dealers game of four square, where they play with numbers on a sheet of paper divided into quarters.
Wait until they give their documentation fee, widow etching, paint sealant, they have to make up for it somehow. Call a dealer like that one that and ask what all the discounts are, what it takes to meet the criteria and how much it cost out the door and rolling down the road.
There is always the game of you (any buyer) being given a loan and them calling back days later saying there is a problem getting it funded but for a higher rate it’s all good. They do this for a living, they have many ways to get extra money from the customer.
Id be astounded if they’d sell it at that price to anyone walking in.

That's identical to my Magnetic Black, but mine listed at $53635 on the sticker, with a base price of $45920 vs yours, which has a base price of $45670. Its equipped identically as yours. I walked out from the Chicago dealership at ~$40750 with doc fees included at $175. Paid ttt in PA.
That’s awesome. Which CHICAGO dealer. I’m live in Chicago and went to 2 local dealers and offered 41-42k for same exact titan. They said lowest they can go was 47k.

Martin Nissan at Skokie. Salesperson was Joseph Moulton - reasonable guy, no issues. I could have got them another $200 to $300 lower, but they were trying to work with me, I let it go. Overall an A+ experience there.

PS. One clarification, though. I did make avail of the new college graduate incentive. I believe it was $500. This factored into the dealer price of ~$40750.

You guys have any advice for a guy looking to get his first Titan? I’ve got my eye on a Pro 4x CC in the midnight pine here in town with the utility package. Dealer wasn’t willing to go any lower than the posted internet price of $44k ($50.6k MSRP). All the deals posted on here seem to be way better than that. I’m fine with waiting, because I’ll be surprised if they sell it any time soon

I bought a leftover 17 KC 4x4 sv for less than $30,000 OTD. It was in the middle of 18, and they gave me a $14000 rebate, plus they had a liner sprayed in. Good deal-maybe. No problems at all with anything other than a cheap radio-and mine has NAV. I wouldn't buy another one, I do like the truck, but resale is terrible. I read a add about saving money buying used trucks, and a Titan was listed, a 17 model, for $19000! less than half price. I would look at Toyota a little more, they do suck gas, but ours aren't much better.

Hey Skin. I saw your post on another price thread. I’m also in Louisville. You go to Collins or Byerly? The salesman you work with still there? I doubt I’ll ever get a deal like that one, but I can wait till December to try and get a deal.

x2. They make you use Nissan to finance. All I would say is if you have the credit to get a great rate... I have PenFed offering me 2.25% for up to 48 months. I had my bank (Digital Credit Union) offering me 2.24% for up to 36 months with a .25 rate discount for having a higher relationship with them netting it to 1.99%. The credit dings meant nothing to save the money.

All you do each day.... you keep checking for your loan number on the Nissan Financial site. I just checked every day until they had my account in the system and refi'd that same day.

When I got my 2017 Titan PR 4x4 fully loaded for 40k... the MSRP was 56500. College discount, nissan loyalty etc.

The only advice I can give the OP or the other poster... just keep trying. I bought my 2017 in June 2018. I started looking in April. I wasn't under any pressure. I e-mailed lots of dealerships in California. Of course you have to play the games where they won't just give a price and want you to test drive and get you in the seat. All 3 brought in scumbag closers to try and tell me how they were ready to deal and then each would say "we cant sell it that low, you wont find another dealer who will."

I went to three dealerships when I wanted (had a bit of time). Told them the price I wanted to pay. My goal had always been around 40k before TTL. But my limit was 42k and I wanted a PR or a P4X with all the features....

Finally, early June, I had a rep from the Nissan of Stockton call me and told me my original email chain they were willing to accept my offer of $41500 and then i'd get the loyalty for 500 and $1000 college to get me to the price of 40k IF I came down that Sunday to get it done. He said they really wanted to get one more sale in and his manager ok'd the price.

It was 2pm and they closed at 6pm (an hour away from me). I said hey you get the paperwork ready and I'll be there and I will pay the price we agreed to. If they added anything else I would walk.

He held to it. They made the price 41250 on paper and then added their "doc" fee for $250. I was fine with that... they had wanted 44.5k listed and I told them my final price.

Walked out the door at 40k and have been happy ever since.

Pulled the trigger on a Pro4x in midnight pine with the Utility package. Got in from cookeville nissan on 7/15. I qualified for the $1k graduate bonus and paid $37k plus TTL. Out the door under $40k... happy about that. Went ahead and put on the Lund nerf bars... highly recommend

No @LeaninBack916. Couldn’t come to agreement on price. Still looking. I did test drive a F-150 crew cab with 2.7v6. I was a nice ride. It was an xlt with some options. And it would be same price as an entry titan pro4x. Still waiting on a great deal. Waiting to see what the 2020 titan offers.

Oh gotcha. Well good luck and I still hope you find a nice truck at a great price regardless of make.

First post here I'm loving the Nissan Titan XD Diesel but the MSRP for these are crazy for a 1/2 ton truck. 63K MSRP for 4x4 SL with the cummins tryingt o get a picture at what other's are paying for there's. The first quote I got was 50k for the SL model and 69k for the SV Rocky Ridge model. I was also looking and there seems to be a dealer lift kit option for an extra 2500 anyone know since it's put on by dealer is this warrantied by them as well?
