Hello friends…
As far as the 2023 Titan Pro 4X wheels… What does everyone else think of them?
I just don’t think they look right on the Baja Storm. I think they should be all black (blackish).
Does anyone have any suggestions or options to remedy the situation?
I would like the keep my Nissan cap in the center.
I welcome any thoughts.
Thanks! …Dave

Here I thought I was going crazy. Im on my 3rd month of owning a 2023 Titan Pro 4x and have driven about 3500 miles in that time. No matter how I drive the truck whether its strictly highway, keeping it under 75, making sure I dont accelerate fast out of stop lights, etc I cannot get the truck to do better than 16mpg and this was me babying the truck around which sucks. Whats a little more frustrating is window sticker states this truck should do better and the truck is telling me the mpg is better than what it actually is(mpg average on truck says 20mpg).www.routerlogin.net
I’d be ecstatic if was seeing 16mpg. I’m barely seeing 14 mpg with same style of driving. I’m just gonna say F-it and enjoy the roar of the 5.6 and drive the hell out of it.

I agree. if they didn't have a machined face with the aluminum and were all black/grey they would look much better.

You could have someone powder coat and match the grey color in the center of the wheel? or plastidip them a different color to see if you like it first.
one of the other things i disliked about the stock p4x wheels is that they are a pain in the *** to clean.

I don't think they look right either! Never liked them. So, when I have a grand to burn, I'm going with the same wheels all in black chrome. They're actually good looking wheels, but that machining around the perimeter..........arghhhhh, ruins it.

Personally, I hate black wheels. Don't know why they are so popular right now, they're even offered on some minivans.

What's the point of having an interesting wheel design, then painting it in black to hide the details (especially in pics or from any distance greater than 10 feet).

I'm split on the Pro-4X wheels because they are part black, part machined. I don't hate them, but I would if they were all black (also don't like the all black Pro-4X grill or tailgate band).

I'm strongly considering the Nissan Hardbody wheels for my Pro-4X if they are the same specs of the Titan wheels.....

What do you mean? The wheels and bumper and stuff?

My truck came with those wheels and chrome grill, too

I have a 2021 Pro4x with the stock rims. I am thinking about getting after market rims for it but the wife told me that it wasn't wroth it if I had to throw away the stock rims. So am asking if anyone has a need for Pro4X stock rims (18 inch). They have only 38k on them. I live in Arizona. Not sure how much it is to ship them. I am not looking for much in form of price. Will also just give away if you pay for shipping.

Hi Tyler, I am toying around with maybe powder coating my rims in matte black instead of actually switching out the rims. The wife is actually happy with that. I found a place here in Mesa Arizona that will do it for about $100 a rim. I am picturing it in my head and I think the all black Pro4X rims on a Baja Storm Titan XD will look real cool. I agree with you, shipping from Arizona to Ohio will be way expensive.

one of the tire websites, discount or something, has a rim tool that lets you pick a wheel and it will put it on a sideview of the truck so you can get an idea of what it looks like

I agree with you. I couldn't find wheels I liked so I had my OEM wheels powdercoated! I love them!

Just bought the '23 Baja 4x and was just thinking the same thing. I'm going to photoshop the wheels all black and let it simmer in my mind. I want to believe all black will look better.
I don't know how to do that so if you can , can you post a shot of the photoshop of the rim on the Baja Storm so I can see the rim in all black. I really think that on the Baja Storm the Pro4x rims need to be all black. For the rest of the colors it is ok to have the chrome tips on the rim.
I just posted a pic of my truck. I had my wheels powdercoated. That chrome was driving me nuts!!
