If you have a 2wd a CST Spindle lift is the best to do. Or you could do coilovers and have them maxed out.

If you are 4wd or 2wd you could get a Rancho 4" lift which has been known to give around 5.5" of lift.

The cheapest you can do for 4" of lift for a 2wd is a combo of Bilstein 5100 Shocks and 08+ 4x4 Springs.

 

I know that Fabtech offers suspensions for 2WD and 4WD. You can check their site.

 

Yeah, it would help to know year/2wd or 4x4 of your truck.

the closest 4" lift would be the Rancho. Even though it gives ~5.5" of lift.

 

I'm good with 5.5!! Gotta get my shopping list together.

keep in mind that the rancho lift requires you to ALSO purchase the shocks seperately from the lift kit. From what I have read the kit will not work without the rancho shocks. I believe rancho is currently offering a $500.00 rebate on their lift kits.

 

Yeah I saw that rebate on one of the part websites. Just curious, should I do anything else to prevent wear & tear? My last truck, 2001 GMC Sierra 4x4, after I lifted it & put 37" tires on it, it started falling apart. I had to replace the inner & outer tie rods several times. And the u joints, & 2 wheel bearings. So I don't want to have to go through that again!!!

yea ur gonna have to do a little bit with it.

I would go all out with everything like a Drive Shaft Spacer, Traction Bars, Heimed Tie Rods, Coilovers, Deavers. But thats just me if I lifted it like that.
