Hey all. I have a 2005 KC Titan. Right now my 2 year old is in the back with a forward facing car seat. We are expecting our 2nd child in april. Will I be able to also fit a rear facing child seat in my KC? I am starting to think it might be too tight for both, and unfortunely time for the truck to go. I wanted to see if anyone has squeezed 2 of these in their truck. Thanks.

Not in a KC...I have a 4 door and it's easy.

Put the rear facing in the middle.

I have a 6year old in the back and 6 month old rear facing in the middle. It works and allows me to keep the front seats as far back as the tracks will allow with out interference. If I didnt have a passenger or a really short passenger the rear facing would be behind the passenger.

If you dont have a seperate base for the rear facing the seat probably wont be to secure using just the belt. With the base you have to use an achor point from the passenger side and the other from the drivers side. Not a big deal and its still safe and secure.

Only pain in when you have to put the car seat in. I just slide the driver seat forward which allows for easy access to slide the car seat right in and onto the base.

I have a 4yr old and a 2yr old in the back, works great!! I love my KC. We prefer the KC over the CC. We tend to put a lot of stuff in the bed and love having that extra space in the bed.

Its amazing how much room those rear facing seats take up. I just got rid of my 07 Impala SS for a Titan crew cab for this very reason. I was surprised to learn that my passenger seat still needed to move forward to accomodate the rear facing seat. I think the truck is wide enough to get the rear facing seat in the middle though. Oh, I am new here by the way.

The time has almost come for the second child to arrive. Just wanted to update anyone with a KC that you can get a front child seat and a rear facing child seat in a KC. The rear facing had to go in the middle. .but I'm happy with the end result. Hope this helps anyone that has the same question as i did

When I had my first daughter we put the seat in the middle. For two reasons. A bit safer if there is a side impact and so my wife did not have to move her seat up. No much but some. When my second came we did not have a choice but to put her behind the passenger seat. And I have a CC. You could also buy a front/rear facing seat. That might fit in the KC. But you will have to carry the baby without the travel seat. My second grew fast and out grew her baby seat in 7 months. So we put her in the rear/front type seat early. Congrats on the baby. After having one, and thinking it was all the work in the world, you will not believe how easy the second one will be. But only for a short time though LOL. Good Luck.

PS I believe Nissan has a website that will tell you what seat will fit in which vehicle. Google it.

FWIW, I have a booster seat for my 9 year old, a front facing seat for my 2 year old, and a rear facing seat for my 3 month old in the back of my KC. All of them are anchored as instructed and it all works out. Two seats shouldn't be a problem.

I have a king cab too. We have infant in the middle rear facing and two year old behind passengers side, forward facing.

Fits just fine. Only concern is my 2 year old bugging the shiat out of her new brother, since he is in reach of her! Haha

hello, I am looking into buying a Nissan Titan....KC or CC....I hear alot of people talking about the leg room in a King cab with child seats....I only plan on putting a child seat, when we head up to the cottage, camping, and family picnics....I prefer to have more space in the bed, than in the cab because the titan will be used for work 90% of the time.....our 07 mercedes ML350 does not take everything we need for cottage. My wife and myself are 5'5" and 5'4", so bringing the seats forward in order to put the child seat is not a problem. I absolutely love the space in a CC, but the bed is not my liking. I would appreciate some input....thanks

If bed space is what you want, you can get a CC Long Bed. They are hard to find used. And they are only offered on the SV I believe. Do not quote me on the model.
