2023 titan pro4x. air works fine. Cools off the cabin , and have to turn it down. Very cold. Front and rear air.

Just for my own curiosity, have you tried setting it to recirculating air instead of fresh air intake? On especially hot days, that usually helps.

 

It does it automatically in Auto mode when set to min 60F. It recirculates and blows out of front vents.

 

2018 PR here, and find the AC is almost too strong a lot of the time! usually have to take it off auto and turn the fan down. And thats coming from a canadian who likes and lives in the cold 50% of the year!

 

That does sound a bit off for a 3-year-old truck, especially with a smaller cab. Even in 90+ temps, the AC should be able to get the cabin cooler than that. Hard to say for sure without a vent temp reading, but it might be worth having it checked—could be something simple like low refrigerant or a blend door issue. Definitely not how it should be performing.

 

No issues with AC here. It works so well, the glass has marks from nipples scratching.

Living in SE Texas, 2018 SV air is so cold that on some mornings I have to crack the heat a little not to freeze in June. The AC on these trucks is awesome. Never needed service either.

 

I have a king cab and I find I have to set the thermostat to around 75 to avoid freezing on 90 degree days. The A/C on these trucks is stout, especially after driving some Honda products that struggle to keep up. I'd have it checked out.

 

Do your vents blow strong at max vent speed? Mine are barely moving any air, like when you exhale with mouth wide open, that's about the force of air coming out.

 

I changed my cabin air filter and it blows like it did when it was new.

 

Maybe your cabin filters are clogged.

I think the overwhelming consensus here is you should take it in to a shop to get it checked out…

 

Point of reference, I've played golf in 45F in a drizzle and was comfortable; I still have to turn it up some on my 23' P4X at times. I'm looking forward to really testing it once the weather hits upper 90's.

 

I agree. Check the cabin filter. It could be as simple as changing it out if it’s blocking air flow. Easy to do.
