Seems like 90% of the time Jacob (my 06 titan) "burps" when I fuel him. No its not a matter of over filling as he does it no matter if I put in $15 or fill the tank. Do your trucks do this???

In a sense, yes. Mine does. I'd describe it as a gurgling. I wish mine whistled though. That sound fun. My truck does not have a name. I cannot see that it ever will.

Have not heard a burp but I do hear a cash register ringing when I hook up to the pump.

Mine whistles, then pulls out a guitar and starts playing "Classical Gas."

Verrry talented truck, i must say.

My Girl "Daisy" 2005 Black CC 4x4 is always a perfect Lady - no burping - farting - or messin around with other vehicles - but she does get "chittery" sometimes and spins her back tires recklessly! LOL!.

HaHA! You guys are funny, yes I am a girl.

Jacob actually spits up some gas when he burps. I almost always end up with some dripping down the side of the truck. That is what concerns me.:rainy:
Do you always go to the same station??

I've had mine puke on me on two ocassions. I asked some folks about it and a couple other people have had it happen. I just start pumping slow and then hit it wide open and fill em up................................... :banasex0r

Man that sounded kinda dirty. :D

Well, the Gray Ghost is a whistler too. I have had people look around from the other side of the pump to see what it was. That darn truck will do anything for attention.... Love the AV!! Takes a Southern Belle to have an AV like that!!!! Mine has never burped...I would probably the service guys on that one, I wouldnt want gas running down my clear coat many times.....

Yeah, that is weird. I don't ever notice noises because I'm usually not right by the pump until I hear "click." But I know that it never spits gas out and down the side.

Probably doesn't have anything to do with your truck, but the pump nozzles that you're using. I do know that some have a tendancy to not want to sit straight and they kind of sag, which could cause some splashing n such.

Apparently size of the hose does matter? :flying:
:eek2:
