These new Total Chaos clones are AWESOME! I switched from the Rough Country to the TCs this morning. Definitely worth the switch. Before with the RCs, it would rest on the CB before the tires left the ground. With the TCs, it touches just after the wheels leave the ground. Measured the gap between the top of the tire and the highest point of the fender. The RCs measured 9.5". The TC clones got a hair over 10.5". A full inch of additional downtravel!

RCs before full droop...

TCs at full droop, just touching.

I did have to do the Total Chaos modification, otherwise it was a really tight fit.

If there's any other questions or requests for pics, let me know!

Well done ty ty, you are gonna make me take away from my AR fund. Atleast my T will be riding better when I trade it in!

So here's my performance thoughts.

There's about six to seven MONSTER speed bumps on the way to my house. Speed limit is 25. Normally I could take them at 25ish, get a little clunk and it would feel semi-harsh. Borderline stiff.

New TC clones, 40+ mph and not a single noise. They feel nice and firm, but still plush. Takes the bumps a LOT better, IMO.

Did you trip the coil bucket just because? or did they hit the bucket before you trimmed it?
They look really clean and well put together!

If you never had them trimmed do you think they would have made contact?

I keep debating to just get a nice coilover and uca and call it good, or to save up and go long travel with an extended coil or shock hoop and kings.
Trying to remain realistic, yet not regret anything hah.

Yeah. Not a ton, but some. I do have 3" of lift up front... I wanted the most travel.

Hendi, I'm hitting some service/quarry trails tomorrow. Jagged rocks plus the six plys on my 20's, equals no-no. So the play setup is on.

The only time it's been airborne was an accident.

Like I said though, the speed bumps by my house are HUGE. Like 8-9" tall and maybe 30" long. I hit those pretty damn hard, no contact. I may snag a video on my way home in a few hours. ;)

My first Titan got airborne and ended up popping out both front half shafts and spider-web cracking my front diff all over. Good thing it was all done on the clock for my dealership during a video/photo shoot :)

okay dumb question here. My last set of 5100's I just ran on the tallest setting. Just like with coil-overs I thought the goal was to get away from "stacking". Why are guys doing the middle perch and a spacer? Especially when running UCA's like you are?

#23 ·
Because it lets you change preload of the spring and a spacer. In other words, more lift with less chance of cbc.

Sadly? You seemed pretty desperate to ditch it.

Well, with the RC's and my play tire/rim setup (33x12.5 Mud Graps and 17x9 procomps with 4.5" backspacing) would rub just a tad. Now there's none. :dunno:

I'll report back with my alignment spec sheet, hopefully on monday.
