This Christmas weekend my 2006 Nissan Titan started shutting down in mid flight.
First symptom was lag in acceleration, then it would shut down altogether.
It will start fine then die after acouple of minutes. This happened about 5x.
Didn't have a problem for 48 hours then shut down again at about 75 mph. At approximately 50-55 mph regained power while on the roll. No issues since.
Every time it shuts down all dash lights illuminate as they should when power is off. Ignition switch stayed on during the entire process (except when I had to pull over and retstart).
I have a K&N Air Intake. Coincidentaly, I cleaned the air filter after the first mishap as I had already scheduled to do. With that I checked the sensor and did not find any physical damage. This was my first attempt to trouble shoot the system.
Any suggestions out there?
Thanks.
