Has anyone had THIS TSB work done? If so, did it correct he problem? It apparently fixes the engine tick (no, its not the tick fixed by the ground wire) caused by the EVAP canister. My dealer told me a few months ago that this TSB does not actually solve the problem. Thanks.

I had it done. It did stop the tick at "idle" not the tick during acceleration. Two different "ticks".

I had this TSB done a couple months ago. I was getting a noise at idle when the engine was warm. Kinda sounded like a diesel. I have now driven about 2000 miles since it was done. The sound is gone. Worked for me.

I had this TSB done and the engine sounded great with no ticks for about 3 weeks but now I still get that same old tick. I was surprised at how great the engine sounded after I had this TSB done!

I'm having it done. They had to order the part. Tried to get it done begining of the week when I had my brakes done

Thanks all. I figured I was getting BS from the dealer. I will have them perform the TSB when I go in on Monday for my second judder fix. They already told me that they have no new rotors in and won't be getting them in for a while, so its another temporary judder fix. I am also getting the center rear seat belt TSB done (can't retract that seat belt at all) as well as getting the new fuel sending unit installed (which they allegedly ordered on my last visit in January but never bothered to tell me when it came in).

Man,
Are you going to Mastria Nissan for the work?

They have treated me pretty well so far. Although, I haven't needed anything major yet. Just had some clips replaced on the B piller outside trim piece because it kept coming loose and I am still having them do oil changes for the time being. It's been very easy to get an appointment since they moved and their hours are much more convenient. I am starting to feel a very slight judder after 19,000+ miles but it's so faint I wouldn't bother having it done yet. I'm guessing I will need to address it before the end of the summer. They already told me they are required to cut the rotors at least once before they install the "real" fix.

No, I'm going to Clay Nissan in Dedham. Have you had good experience at Mastria?
