Seems like a lot of tire places are like that. When I got my Toyos put onI drove a hour to the place to get them installed and they said it would be a 4 hour wait, and I had stuff to do so I left. Then I wanted an appointment and they said they could do that and be there in an hour and they would get it done. Mind you my parents both work so I had to wait till the truck was done. So I get there and leave straight from school at 2:30 and they say I'm in line but it will be a 3 hour wait :bangit:. So I thought fine, I'll suck it up and wait. I got the truck back at 8, it's the worst ice storm of the year and it's a 3 hour drive home instead of 1. I wanted to kill someone. And when you buy used the wheel locks are never there. That happened with my dodge I bought in January, and when I realized it last month the dealer cut them off for free and replaced them. But like I said on facebook I actually don't run locks on any of my trucks wheels. So don't steal them :gunz: lol

 

hahah.. yeah it just pisses me off that i can hear air coming out of my back tire.. im going to wake up in the am and its going to be flat!! ughhh.. and dont worry.. i cant steal them.. you live tooo far!! lol

 

Yeah but there are a few others on here that can lol. And that really sucks because a lot of people on here have had really good luck with discount tire. But I know what you mean lol.

Wasn't trying to rub it in. I'm amazed at how patient you were cause I would have said a few choice words to them, left, and taken my business elsewhere. For how much our truck tires cost we should matter to them...

 

yeah.. its true!!!! i am usually not very patient... so they are lucky.. but i can promise you.. TOMORROW I WILL NOT BE SO PATIENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So.. today I go to discount tire to get new wheel locks since I dont have the key for mine.. the guy tells me I need new tires.. which I already knew.. but my step dad didnt wanna pay $1000 for new tires because they just spent over $40,000 this month alone... so anyways.. the guy convinces my parents.. im happy...

2 pm i drop the truck off...
the guy tells me it will be an hour and a half...
5 pm have not heard from them.. already out so i go up there.. it had not even moved from the spot i left it in!!!!!!!
call them at 630 its still not done.. but it was the only time i had a ride up there and i wont leave my truck alllll night there!! lol
finally 7pm its done.. the guy makes me back it out of the shop.. i get three blocks away.. and the tire light comes on.. i turn around.. go back.. they have already left... (they close at 6) so i get out... my back driver side tire is leaking air!!!!!!!!!!!

after spending $1400 dollars on new tires and spending 5 hours with my truck in the shop.. after going tomorrow and getting it fixed.. i will NEVER go back there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live on the Far North West side of town (Grand Teton and Jones), but my Inlaws live right next to that whole complex. I could throw a rock from their back yard and hit the Discount tire.

That would be a valid request! Can't expect everyone to have a compressor handy at home. The unexpected waiting bugs me more than the air leak.

If using wheel locks, buy an extra one or two. Those things are weak, and break easy. I have 3 total.

 

yeah well i did go shopping while waiting on my truck.. so it was not too bad.. till i sat out front for 30 min in the heat while they put the back tires on!!!!!!

I've never had a problem with Discount Tire. But, I live in Indiana. Sorry to hear.

 

i got nitto terra grapplers in 285/70/17... i am now ******* PISSEDD!!!!!! I JUST WENT OUTSIDE... MY TIRE IS FLAT!!! UGHHH

the same thing happened tp me at tire kingdom the cracked my outer valve stem i had to have my folks take it the next day while i was at work. i wanted to choke someone.

And plus just cause you have boobs it doesn't always help out...everyone has boobs...I show mine off sometimes, and yes I get whistles and winks but it hasn't done much more than that...walk in naked and maybe that'd work but i don't think they'll be so happy
