Well, I've been lurking for a while, but this is my first post. So far I'm very impressed with the Titan, but am somewhat concerned after seeing this video. I thought the Titan was MUCH faster than the F-150 when I test drove them. Surely this F-150 isn't stock.

Edit: It won't let me post a link. Just go to Streetfire and seach F-150 Titan and you'll see it.

No way is that ford stock. I have raced an f-150 before and I pulled away from him even with 20" wheels on 33's.

F150's are slow, I use to have one.

Funny, did you read the comments? They were saying the Titan was egging the F-150 on by honking...if that's the case, way was the F-150 driver already video-ing it?

I really don't think that Titan was willing or even into the race.

this vid was just funny. i've raced some fords, dodges, and silv....(btw, i'm not the best driver)...but i can account that when going stock to stock, titan has the advantage......i could be wrong, then again, if i was driving and someone pull next to me and wants to race, and i'm not at the right gear, then i'll have the disadvantage, you all know what i mean.

and no, i'm not titan super fanatic.

i bought this truck b/c i get more for my money....PERIOD!!!

It was not a race or the ford had some major mods. I was babysitting my friends '07 F-150 FX4 for a couple weeks and it does not compare to my titan at all in the power arena. He has the Rousch intake & exhaust; me an intake, JBA EVOL & 2 deg. To me, once you left 1st gear the F-150 seemed to lose alot of its torque (must be the gearing) and at any speed above say 30, it just wouldn't go. The tach would go all the way to the right but the truck seemed sooooo slooooow.

no way that guy in the titan was even trying... in the beginning of the vid, the titan goes back slowly (as if the titan is trying and the ford is pulling on him)..

If the ford was doing about 70 or so on the highway it wouldnt move away fast from a titan cruising at a constant speed, so thats why it almost looks like the titan is trying in the beginning...

This is just like in the titan where you punch it doing 100mph...it wouldnt really move amazingly fast..

---how about i make a video with my cam pointing to the right, next to a ferrari and punch it doing 100mph??? it would make an awesome video like this one..

What is that horrible buzzing sound just at the end of the vid? Sounds like some parts coming loose. :)

I agree to on this one. While the Titan was in the shop they gave me a loaner F-150. Man slow as dog sh!!. I tried to merge on the beltway here in Md and almost got run over. Told the wife I could not wait until the Titan was back and when it was I lit them up leaving the dealer because I was so happy once again.
