What does it take to do something like this? Kind of curious. I know nothing on wiring and stuff but like the idea.
Users on here simply flip a custom switch on the dash and have all these cool lights and accessories. Kind of jealous.

I don't get it. What's it used for?

 

its aux lighting and as far as hooking it up just find a way to mount it and it came with the most simple wiring harness i have ever hooked up just get the wires in the cab for the switch and hook up pos and neg to the battery and the plug into the light thats is. the only thing that may be an issue is the wires being a lil to short may have to extend the battery leads but not biggie ill post pics when i get done with it

 

got it all done today think it looks great i still have a mesh grill that goes around it im just waiting till i make sure its aimed the way i like then ill put that in also

This is cool. I would love to see a pic at night. The mesh is perfect to help protect it too. Really thinking I might try this.

the light bar was 529.00 plus shipping but worth every bit of the cost although a lil pricey but has a lifetime warranty and made in the usa so u get what you pay for. the first pic is just the light bar the second is with my HIDs the light bar is crazy bright its like driving in the daylight ill post pics once i do the mesh around it im gonna wait a week or so to make sure i like where i have it aimed oncei put the mesh around it it will be a pita to try and adjust

Looks like one of those vehicles from storm chasers. Nice. Need to see some better pics though. So would you say that its brighter than the HID's or just as bright or not as bright? What kind of HID's do you have?

 

it says on the box that it is 70 watts and 4.8 amps and i was pricey took me a long time to decide to do it but im really happy i think its brighter than my hids i have ddm 35watt 1000k hids when i have both on i can def tell that they are brighter im the mornings when i got to work its still kinda dark and the last two mornings i have only used the leds and had no prob seeing at all

 

also i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and i thought of getting a cheaper brand but had nothing to go by expensive is not always better and the same for cheaper but in this case i went with the rep the company has and they stand behind it if you have any doubts about spending the money trust they are well worth it
