I just finished up my JBA header and catback install. I encountered the same problem on my 4x4. I was able to access the back bolt by tightening the front bolt(17 mm) and loosening the 4 bolts on the engine. Then jacking up the engine again. That created enough space to get a short 17mm socket on the rear bolt to tighten it. This was a problem on both sides. The header crosses directly over top of the back 17mm bolt. My clearance was fine on both sides once everything was tightened.
Did your JBA headers look as crappy as mine?

Yikes! As well reviewed as the b-pipes are, I checked the header reviews on Amazon and some people had very bad things to say. Including welding drips in the holes and metal shavings.

I have my stage 1 on order from Cajun and sure hope my headers are in good shape.

Hi Geoffrey70! I just replaced my exhaust manifolds with the JBA Longtube headers last night. I wanted to thank you for your write-up, it gave a lot of foresight and even though it wasn't easy, it certainly made things easier. Now I'm just waiting for the exhaust gaskets for the b pipes and everything should be done, but at least the hard part is over with!!
