I don't have any direct experience with the Scorpions but in my research finding tires for my '23 Pro4x I found some comments about poor treadwear and road noise. Ultimately I went with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs. They are 3pmsf rated, review well for treadwear and have so far been quiet on the highway for an AT tire. Also, I believe they are currently on promotion at Discount Tire.

 

A buddy had those on his isuzu suv when we were younger. They were great here in the coast but we dont get snow

 

I have no experience with the Pirelli’s, but I recommend the K02’s to anyone who will listen—-best tires I’ve ever bought.

 

I’ll have to check out the Coopers, but I think I’m leaning towards the KO2. I have had them before and was very happy with them, I think I just needed some validation.

 

Obviously my Titan is older, but I recently switched back to KO2’s from Duratrac’s and the KO2’s just reminded me of how all around a better tire they are, especially the lower road noise and not to mention the snow performance which helps out here.

@CurtisPDX if you could use a slightly taller tire, the 275/65R-20 is available in the KO3.

yes, they will be tight and might not fit. some 275/65/20 are taller/wider than others. my cooper discovery fit at 275/65/20 yet someone else got another brand the 275/65/20 in that brand required mods to fit

 

good to know, I saw your pics and they looked tight but didn’t want to hijack your thread. It’s looking like 275/60/20 ko2s are in my near future

Check out the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015. They're about $45 less per tire than the KO2's. Three Peak rated, great tread wear, low noise. I love them on my Titan!

My previous truck was a 2014 F150 XLT 4x4 super crew. I bought it new, and it came with Pirelli Scorpions on it. They sucked in wet weather. I drive very easily and would spin with a light start leaving stop lights. I do not recommend them.

 

The Scorpion All Terrain Plus referred to here is a newer tire launched just a few years ago. It does rate fairly well.

So the KO2’s load rating is D and the Scorpion is SL. I’m going with the KO2’s. I can get them on early next week so I’ll post up a pic when she gets new shoes. Now I just gotta decide if I’m gonna wash my truck after getting the new canopy on. ARE dealer told me to wait 3 months for paint to cure before washing. That’s a tough pill to swallow when you drive a black truck that is beautiful when clean and shiny, not so much when nasty dirty

 

I’ve been using Vredestein Pinza AT tires on my ‘21 PR, I live in the Midwest and they are hands down, the best tire I’ve used on any vehicle I’ve ever owned. The performance in rain and snow is outstanding. Very quiet as long as you rotate on schedule. And they look really nice on the truck. They’re definitely worth a look. Bought mine at Tire Rack, had them shipped to my local tire shop. Price was good and free shipping to boot.
