Possible basslink location

As you guys can see I don't want to give up the basslink that easily. Is this a better alternative to putting it below the rear seat partially sticking out? My concern would be thiefs. I used the center bench one time out of 6 months of ownership so that's not a big loss to me.

Looks like a safety hazard to me. I have a Basslink under my back seat and it doesn't stick out to far and is super easy to remove.

How is the bass with it laying flat like that. In my previous car it stood up (left and right) and was bolted inside the truck and that soounded good. Did you bolt yours or is the seat keeping it there? My kids are back there and I did not want wet shoes to drip on it. Thanks for the honest responses.

I didn't bolt it in as the seat does a great job of securing it. My wife thinks it sounds "ok", but she hates alot of bass and always has the remote gain turned down. I think it sounds great and hits pretty hard. It did take alot of tweaking, but I'm finally happy. I also love the fact that it does have a remote gain control. Makes it easy to adjust from cd's to radio.
