I just bought my truck yesterday, and would like to replace the rather unimpressive stock radio (no BT, Sirius, etc)..

I have a Kenwood DDX372BT head unit which has worked flawlessly for the past few years in my old vehicle.

I purchased the 70-7552 harness, and I have wired it correctly...

(I think I just found the answer to my question, while Googling in between typing here but I will post anyways just in case.)

I am getting a spark when I put the screw into the bracket that attaches the radio to the chassis...

The harness says the black wire is for Subaru only, so I am guessing that I will have to attach the head unit ground to a chassis connection that I have to make myself??

This sound about right?
