The TB Bypass is for real though.

Gee, I guess I could ask the same exact question again. Maybe I would get a real answer. The link above that i got "had" by only shows a picture of a couple hoses and a genaric phrase.

So anyone have any real answers, or are we all "had.""misslelau

The oil bypass was a joke - the TB bypass is for real. You're not bypassing intake air, but the coolant that circs through the tb to warm the incoming air (serves a real purpose in cold weather, but robs power when outside air is warmer). They myriad of hoses/valves is so you can un-bypass it in the winter when you need the heat in the TB without replumbing the whole thing. The picture really does show you all you need to know...

The oil bypass site is a hoot - they have all kinds of nifty thing - blinker fluid, wiper sharpner, muffler bearings, etc...

I feel dumb now. Oh well. You never know now a days. Maybe the oil was circulating somewhere it didnt need to go. Ahhh, I am just trying to make myself feel better.

I have seen it before, don't have a link to prove it though. 5-10 degrees or so, and some get .1 in the 1/4 IIRC. 1,000's do this mod at the track, very common...
