I have a 2018 SV crew can with the factory NAV head unit. When I start the truck and the radio starts up it says something about accessing text messages I need to change some setting on my phone to allow this. I have an iPhone 7. Is there a way to get my texts on the head unit or what is this about? Still trying to figure it out.

butterbean, I had some trouble with my phone doing that on another vehicle. Take the truck and phone by whoever service you have. (Verizon, Sprint, ATT, etc) Have one of those guys come out and set it up. They see this type thing all the time and are super familiar with their phones they sell. The local Verizon store got mine going.
