Those of you that have had the Titan for at least a year, how many miles you got? And any MAJOR problems(not the nit-picky sh!t)?

I got mine in Feb. '04 and have about 37.5K already and she runs just like when i bought her.
Not one single problem, no nit-picks either. I did get the radio replaced though via the TSB.

I have had mine for for exactly a year this month. Nothing major at all and only a couple little things that were cosmetic only. Overall a GREAT truck and I would not trade it in, yet. Oh, and I have about 14k on mine.

I bought mine in March '04, around 17k on it. No major issues other than the brake judder, still waiting on the new rotors to come in. A few minor issues here and there; driver seat creak, HVAC motors making noise every now and then, leather trim on right door panel was replaced, had the original RF radio replaced for the fade issue. Other than those minor problems, a solid truck. Can't complain about the gas mileage, the power is great, tons of room, nice ride, and awesome 5-speed.

Starting Month 13

I've had mine since Mar 04 and have put 15K on it. Light driving and household hauling (pine straw etc.) 4 Brake judder visits and will have to go in to get the "ordered" parts soon. Brakes seem to judder on me every 3 to 4K miles. Other than the embarrasing shimmy, I love the truck and still get compliments.

I have had mine since Jan. '04 and its about to turn 20k on the odometer. Brake judder is my only "major" issue. Lots of little things (like window switches, radio, window trim rattle, etc.) being taken care of as they come up. I still love it!

A bunch of nit picky stuff.

Replaced front seat-foam was separating
window switches
Radio TSB
brakes
-new master cylinder
-new proportioning valve
-bleed lines repeatedly
-repair emergency brake
-now I have judder
weather strip coming out of back window
back door guts replaced-wouldn't open
incorrect alignment destroying two tires
bad remote

No drivetrain problems.

Still like the truck.

Picked up in Feb '04, has 16K miles, thought I had a brake leak, turned out the pads just wore too fast.

All is glorious in Titanville!

Bought mine last Jan. Has 22K on it and not been in the shop yet. I am a little jealous of everyone who gets the new brake pads every few thousand miles though. :jester:

Bought my 04 in April 04. Rattled itself to death by Dec. 04, 9000 miles. Dealer Bought it back. Bought 05 Dec. 1, now have 3500 miles on it. Build quality much better. ABLS didn't work, but that is fixed(dealer doesn't know what they did but it works, that is all I care about).
The only other problem is the window rattle. If I lower the window a little it stops. They fixed it once. They said they cleaned out the window track. Now, a couple of thousand mailes later the rattle is back. Had same problem on 04. They replaced the weather stripping, which did no good at all. Rattle is not to bad on highway, but on my rough roads it is very pronounced. If I traveled on interstates I wouldn't mind it, but the nearest interstate is 200 miles away. Other than that I am a relatively happy camper.

April 04, 16K miles

Bought mine new in April 04. I've got 16,000 miles on it now of which 9,000 miles of that was towing a 24' travel trailer around the country last summer.

Only had a few minor problems all corrected under warranty.

Radio replaced due to fade issue
Supplemental Restraint System problem, replaced a seat belt retractor

No brake problems, rear diff paint all burned off but seems to be OK so far.

Other than that everything is OK, just routine maintenance.

It's its birthday today. Born on April Fools day 2004. 12K now w/no major probs. Just started to get the judder, they put me on the list for the latest(new) brake fix. Going to take care of my radio, seat belt recall, and 450 RPM idle on Wednesday. Still love the truck.

Bought mine 12/8/03. 26,500k on it.

*A contact spring switch or something behind Steering wheel airbag.
(kept clicking over bumps and turns between 11 & 1 o'clock.)
*window switch drivers, still trying to convince dealer of issue.
*Also my A/C switch - A/C ON even when A/C & defrost is off - still trying to convince deler of issue.
*Creeking passenger seat...checking floor bolts? All else was silicone sprayed.

And some minor stuff that was quickly addressed.

Runs like the day I bought it.

Love this truck

Here's my original post last December:

Today, my Titan turned one! I have to knock on wood, no serious problems so far.
2004 Galaxy CC born on 11-15-03, purchased 12-12-03
Gas Milage: 14 City, 16-17 Highway.
paint: minor scratches that don't show too bad. Still shines.
brakes: A little mushy, but OK.(holding my breath on the Judder).
A/C: No hiss or fuss, cools great in the Texas heat.
rear diff: Had the Mobil1 put in, and thank god no problems.
tires: After 8000 miles and 1 rotation(@7000) still look good.
bedliner: Spray in bedliner has discoloration, any idea on a fix?
Washes: Professionally done at the near by place once a week.
Radio: The replacement sounds better, but not that much.

Overall 1 year report: Still love it and enjoying it. Hope everyone else's Titan looks and drives this nice after one year of ownership.

bought in Feb 04, 20k with no major problems. Most of the nit-picky stuff was listed before. I did have the seat belts recall, but other than that the truck is great.
