I would say it is a rumor - same rumor that thinks the Buckeyes are going to the Rose Bowl this year. What a sad loss...

yeah i was pissed! they should have won that game their offense sucks.
hats off to the longhorns they were the better team! :futwice:
Dude the Buckeye defense played really good considering... The offense needs to score. Where was Ginn during this game? Big players need to show up for big games...and he was nowhere to be found. The penalties really hurt the Buckeyes. 87 yards in penalties does not sound like alot - but they came at times which just killed there chances. The ref was from Texas - so I think he watched when he wanted to... hahaha

I don't believe an F'in thing a car saleman says. Your wasting bandwidth by even posting something a car saleman say's. They know absolutely nothing about the auto industry or anything car related. So he say's that the frontier is gonna get the 5.6L V8- what a complete tool, probably can't tell the difference between the titan and frontier. If i'm not mistaken the titan has made the sales goals nissan had set for it hasn't it? Its safe to say the Titan will be around for awhile. DON'T LISTEN TO CAR SALEMAN!

The first salesman I dealt with in trying to buy my titan had no idea what the popular package was and was trying to convince me I had to buy the LE to get the bucket seats. I came back with " Oh really? Looks like there are bucket seats in that silver SE right there". Needless to say, I got another salesman after that. Like everyone else has said, Salesmen often have no idea what they are talking about!

Why would Nissan look into adding a diesel on '07 if they were going to discontinue to the truck? Again, i know you're just posting something you read somewhere else.
This may be true though. Let's lok at the two key factors that give this statement legitimacy...

1. EVERYTHING ever posted or read on the internet is the gospel, so it must be true.
2.C ar salesman are more honest than old ladies, and more knowledgeable about the auto industry than anyone, yeah, so I think the Titan may be a goner! NOT!!!

Probably the caslesman was trying to give away the Fronty, and just said that so the potential buyer would take it over the more popular and versatile Titan.

its all just rumors and lies!! car salesmen, about 99.1% are fabricating some line in their head to draw interest, or should i say b.s.! i should know i used to be one and worked with some of the biggest piles of sh:t to walk on the earth in terms of salesmen. so more than likely its just a rumor! as was said in a previous post, Nissan invested to much time and money into the Titan to just pull the plug on it 3 years later. the rumored diesel titan will come out before, if anything, before its discontinued... :deathsent

I'm sure the Titan is making their sales goals. Just don't believe what people say all the time. I really don't think Nissan could shoehorn the 5.6 in the Frontier anyway.

It's the same as: Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge dealerships are buying the salesmen a new Nissan Titan :jester:

its funny how little the salesmen actually know about the brand they are selling. in fact, when i drove the first armada that crapital city nissan got in, i told the salesman that i couldnt wait to drive the TITAN. he actually said, "a titan?, whats that?, some new ford sport utility?" i was like, uhhh.....no, its what this armada is based on. couldnt wait to get back to the stealership to go home.

This whole topic makes me

Nissan is not going to invest as much money as they did in the Titan to drop it after only a 3 year run. The Titan is selling more than enough to keep going.

I don't think they would be discontinuing the truck, especially after running the ads they did during football last night on ESPN with the premise of "it's time to think differently about trucks....thinking about a truck, think Nissan"
