Yes .I am putting a aftermarket amp in. I was going to put my line converter right befor the stock amp, and not use the stock amp at all..

 

As long as you don't put the LOC after the OEM amp then your fine. You want the signal from the headunit...

 

You should always put the LOC as close to the HU as possible.

I will splice the LOC into it and have power for my amp remote turn on from it. That way I wont have to cut any of the factory stuff.

They also make 2 seperate harnesses. But I thought this would be easier. Its nice because it has extra power leads too for the remote.
