Juday very nice truck! Im actually inline to inherit a 57 dodge pu. original 6 banger with 38,000 original miles. But its not nearly in as good of shape as your truck. ill be slowly restoring her.

Thanks! Original 6 banger with 38,000 miles? WOW, that'll be sweet. I have about 290,000 on the original in mine (still running strong). Finding parts for these trucks is a PITA!! I'm still trying to find an oil filter (the whole assembly) for this engine. For some reason, earlier on in its lifetime, someone took the oil filter out of the truck and plugged it. Why would someone take an oil filter off and plug it? Anyways, it's always a toss up on which truck I want to spend my money on...LS1POWERED said:
