unfortunately I didn't purchase the setup from T12V because I hadn't found TT or him yet back in 06 when I got my ride... I believe my interior is the dark gray aka: "steel/graphite"... well... here are some of my pics... I used a mounting bracket with the OEM storage box, minimum cutting underneath to allow wires to run underneath...I ran a "NESA" DVD/TV receiver and used a FM modulator for the audio... FM modulator installed along right knee and the TV antenna along the driver's upper windshield frame... kids have wireless headsets, but it was essential to disable the rear OEM headset transmitter to not interfere with the MD wireless audio transmitter...

Ya know, that looks pretty much like what the Doctor ordered to keep from having to splice. I wonder why you need 5-Harness Ends and where they plug into.

Maybe we can see the install instructions before you fork over the $$$$ ??? If this is what it looks like, I'm sure that there will be several sold very soon. So far, this looks like it'll be a great add-on for installing Tech's package deal.
I went ahead and got the hardwire kit - it's a PAC AAINIS2 interface. Bascially an aux-input which hooks into the sat in - I guess this is similar to the ipod connector.

This might make it easier to hook up but it won't work like the factory DVD using the CD/DVD button.

I don't know that I want to use it now. I really want to have a factory look and feel - which means the CD/DVD button if possible and factory IR.

Tech12Volt said that the Steele colored monitor I am supposedly getting will be the single channel IR - which means I have to disable either the factory or monitor IR.

I probably will have to disable the monitor IR no matter what I do (attempt HU wire or use PAC interface).

I did get a good deal on the game interface with 170Watt inverter. I expect to have as much trouble installing it as I have the monitor :) Oh, well, I should end up with something decent when I'm done.

Ok, so what do I have to do to be able to use the CD/DVD button & Factory IR?

Mine just came in last night, wife had no idea what it was ... daughter though it was directly for her ... Little do they know it is for them, least I could do for the daughter & wife since they got rear ended last week, last Titan got totaled, got another one, and they managed to do it all while I am overseas at work!!!!

The IR will work fine. Everything can transmit over that regardless. I'm thinking that you will probably be using the SAT button instead of the CD/DVD Button. Seems like a 1/2 *** solution to me but it's more than I've seen anyone else offer for us.

Ideally, I'd like to find a connector that would work either the factory harness (not sure if I have one) or plug into the HU. The other end would have RCA connectors. To me all that's needed is a simple adapter cable.

Anyway, the install thread I started will address this issue when I get to it.

Tech installed my set up last weekend....went great!!! Bought the Nissan PAC Interface (From mynissanparts.com), installed it along with the set up & it was great. Mounted the DVD player under the seat, great also. Just one problem, IR for the headphones, when we are using them, have to sit directly behind / inline with the monitor for the headphones to pick up. I did not use the extension IR piece you sent....any suggestions?

Naw ... LOL!!!! I am using just the IR from the monitor. I also think the batteries that I have are not the greatest.....they have been sitting in my toolobx for quite a while. My truck is in getting some warranty work done, so when I get it back will put in some good batteries and see how that helps.
