everything was going great. took a little longer than i expected so i went into the house to get a drink and the cord was on my foot. so the download got stoped prematurly. I have tried everything rebooting the bd unplugged my battery and nothing. Now my truck wont start and the bullydog doesnt register when the key is on. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT.

i tried cant even get the lights to blink

Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but there is a very high likelihood that you fried your ecu. If your key was in the ignition and in the acc or on position, and your bullydog and ecu were linked and reading, and you disconnected your bullydog from your ecu, you can overheat and fry your ecu instantly.

I made this mistake once with a superchips custom tuner on my ZX2, never again.

I hope this isn't the case, and I'd recommend doing the ecu reset in the meantime.

disconnect the neg terminal on the battery
That's not going to do anything. He lost the ROM when it got disconnected half way through. You will need to either figure out how to do the recovery or send your ECU to BD for a flash (assuming it's available).

This has happen to UpRev peoples (but now UpRev has the recovery file available to use). It even happen to one Superchips user also. Just a bit of a hassle but it can be fix.
