All in all, much cheaper than the ill fitting Stillen which does a poor job of centering the pads on the disc. Less than $900 all done with OEM Nissan parts. Added Goodridge 5 line kit. Stops about 15~20% better. I've noticed that I don't have to stomp on the peddle to a stop. Probably the way the Titan should have all been built.

Hi guys,
New to the forum but my 04 is due for brakes again. Stock (chrome) rims.
Looking to go with the 08 brake mod. Taz or kia, could you guys let me know about getting
A) the rotor spacers, and
B) any other new info that maybe pertinent to my year?

Thanks in advance.

Also Kudos to littlemike for kicking this off. :)

Mike

You got anymore sets of spacers available, if so, whats cost inc shippin?

Fantastic! Now can someone come up with a solution for the 2004 stock 17-inch wheels? My brakes are starting to squeal a little at 60K miles (after the "fix" at about 40K miles).

Hi All,

I have a 2007 which is starting to judder when I brake and has had me a bit worried when I went to stop (with a trailer on the back).

It SEEMS like the OEM rims (I have the off road package and the big tow package) will fit but I have not heard anything definite (Sorry if this has been answered and I missed it)

Thanks

Ray

If you have the OR and BT, you most likely have the 17" OEM wheels. The '08 upgrade brakes will NOT fit on the 17" OEM wheels.

FYI. I changed out my rotors to PowerSlots and love them along with EBC brake pads. Very firm!
I changed the fronts to Centric Premium rotors and EBC Green Stuff.
1- I love the strong feeling
2- I hate the dust of the Green, could be worst pad I have ever experienced
3- I can't believe how poorly/uneven the rear pads and rotors have worn
4- I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the ebrake to let go of the rear rotor so I can pull it off, I'm just not comfortable hitting it with a hammer...

I have a 05 qx56 and upgraded to the 08 rotor, calipers, stock pads, + 08 lines. They stop much better than the old stuff-- but pedal is softer. I drove an 08 qx56 last month (while both exhaust manifolds were being replaced under warranty) and it was definitely a firmer pedal. I would like to upgrade to the updated brake booster eventually and EBC DP71808 or DP41808R pads.

The ultimate 08 upgrade package would be 08 calipers, 08 FRozen Rotors, EBC 41808 pads, 08 lines, + 08 brake booster.
