I just got an e-mail from an ARB representative and it was stated that the locker might be available as early as next week!
The attachment was a PDF and I don't know how to attach that on a post.

have fun blowing diffrentials and breaking cvs

What makes you say that?
because i have alot of experience with offroad trucks and IFS and lockers dont mix. When two tires are both pulling it makes it where if they get in a bind nothing will slip, so now you have a 300hp engine putting pressure on a diff in a bind somethings going to give and its going to be the weakest point. Most likely the engine will hold fine, so will the tranny cause they are pretty tuff. If your lucky you will just break a driveshaft (never seen a front one break on the titan) or a cv joint (again titans have strong cv joints that dont normally break) so most likely the weakest link will be an exploding front diff. I promise you though somethings going to give whatever it may be.

Now if you have a straight front axle its a differant story because most of these are strong enough to either bog down the engine or hold out until the stress is finished with.

Hmm.. I will look into this a little more I suppose.

When is someone gonna come out with a front solid axle conversion for the Titan? That's what I really want. I want to keep my Titan yet have the driveline of a one ton.

You gotta be pretty stupid to rock crawl with an IFS 4x4. Stuff will break. If you want better traction in sand, mud, loose gravel, that type of stuff, then the ARB locker is the tits. Disengage the locker chicken little if you think you think you will put your diff in a bind and blow it.

I will buy one if and when it comes out.

how much do lockers usually run?
$750 or so. I had an ARB air locker in the front of my previous truck (Chevy) and it was awesome. Huge difference in off road capability.

yeah, sucks when you got a 4wd and only 2 tires really work for ya when you need it most! Man had I known there was a locker included with the offraod package,, doh! I think I'll have to order one too?

I'd rather have a tru trac up front as well I would think  I think the jeep guys run locker in back and trutrac up front... no wait, they just run lockers front and back but recommend street driven vehicles do tt front locker back :D

I want gears how bout that LOL

honestly i would probably get one too, if i didnt have plans for a SAS, but they will over strain your drivetrain eventually even if you just use it in the light stuff. Eventually somethings going to break, might take it awhile it will. The lighter your right foot the longer stuff will last.

A front locker would be interesting. But the way I have it figured, with my electronic rear locker engaged and the truck in 4x4, if I'm stuck with three wheels turning then one more turning probably isn't going to help. I've purposely got my Titan stuck in deep snow just to see how it would do. It did better than a 4x4 Tundra. :)

I've crawled up rocks many of times without breaking anything. You just have to know the limits of the vehicle and not be retarded and over use the accelerator. Chicken Little... cute.

Did you read your own thread? That comment was directed at the guys saying installing a locker would lead to blown diffs and broken CVs. Sounds like you know how to keep breakage to a minimum.

Also, rock crawling ain't driving down a gravel road.:teeth: Just saying.
