And I started wondering, how many others baby their Titan like I do? Mine is in the garage every night, has never been in mud, gets waxed once a month, and VERY seldom even comes out in the rain. I guess I am lucky to have a company vehicle to drive, and also have an old F150 that I drive when it is nasty outside. Is anyone else this extreme about keeping their Titan clean.

You know, If you would have left it at the dealers show room floor, it would be even cleaner.. An they would detail it
more often....

well mine isnt so bad, but i ride in the rain, and dirt, and gravel... Its a truck for crying out loud!!! Not a decorative peic for my garage!!

So, basically what you guys are saying is that a certain female friend of mine is right, and I need to quit being so :gay: about taking care of my baby. :ugh:

I'm just giving you a hard time.. Its your truck.. Im jut sayin I wouldnt go that far... I wash mine almost every weekend, and wax once every 3 months, maybe even longer... just dont get the part of no driving the rain?

I used to be when i first got it...

But i realized that was like Michael Vick keeping the dogs in the house.

Soooo now i take it hunting and mushroom picking and I love it.... It's an animal in the woods.

It's cool you have the option to be so meticulus with your vehicle. A lot of folks don't. I am pretty damn anal, but not to that degree. I wash in the rain, freezing cold or whatever. Neighbors look at me funny and i live in AL. But there's just no way for most to avoid rain contact. You could prolly back off the waxing every month though. I think in your conditions you are certainly wasting some wax. But really, it's what makes you feel good though ya know?

We should start a wash/wax freak club!

Hell it is your truck, you want to treat it like that go for it. You are paying for it, take care of it like you want.

I'm the complete opposite of that. Mine stays outside every night, is in mud everyday (job forces me to), gets waxed once a year and sees every rain drop. I like to think of the rain showers as "nature's carwash."

i baby mine but then again its lowered on 22 so i dont offroad it.it has about 4 coats of sealant on it.i baby my mustang and my wifes tb ss.im in garage all the time waxing and cleaning them.

I don't know how many times i've heard from my neighbors "you're going to wash the paint right off that thing" and "you can come over and wash mine, if you are really that bored" hell I washed mine the other evening and when I started drying it off the sun was about down and the water started freezing on it, neighbors were driving by shaking their heads and I just looked back and did this :hi:.

Right now I am in denial......i changed my tranny fluid out and the cooler line popped on me going down the road. Needless to say i have tranny fluid ALL OVER the undercarriage. I was hoping this rain would help get some off.

I have to find something good to remove the tranny fluid.

While I wash and wax and clean my truck every two weeks, I do not baby it.

Dog walks on the weekends and hauling garbage or supplies for each project, the truck gets used and I prefer it to my company car (as I can go faster in it without worry.):redblob"

My truck has huge scratches down the side from "playing" and gets washed every 6 months. I babied it at first (first 2 years), but now it's a bruiser... as all trucks should be!
