Well finally last week I pulled the trigger on this and decided now was the time after doing all the reading up on turbos, a/r housings, trim specs etc.. This is 1 of possibly 3 turbos that would work very well with a 5.6l truck and this being the medium I figure this would suit my needs of being able to support 800-850 crank hp would definatly give my IPT built tranny a workout once the motor is built for boost next year.. and this turbo will still be streetable for now since it is the GT4094R it is the guts of the larger GT42 series turbo crammed into a GT40 housing which imo is the best of both worlds as far as top end hp and streetability are concerned..

Onto the specs..
Ball bearing CHRA & compressor housing (turbine housing kits sold separately)
* Oil & water-cooled bearing system
* Free float, non-wategated turbine housing
* Ideal for applications that cannot fit the GT4294R but need more flow than the GT4088R
* Outline interchangeable with GT4088R
* 4 turbine housing options

COMPRESSOR TURBINE SPECS:
Turbo CHRA Dual Ball Bearing
751470-22 751450-16
__________ Wh Dia _____________Trim ________ Intake A/R

Inducer __________ Exducer
67.8mm __________ 94.0mm ______ 52 ___________ 0.72

Exhaust Turbine Specs:

Wh Dia______Trim_______ A/R________ Type
77.0mm ______78 _______ 1.19 ______Free Float

Now onto the pictures:

Just guessing I'm figuring this with a nice spearco intercooler running 5-7lbs of boost should get me easily into the high 11's @110-114mph

The 3400 stall converter will allow me to build prob 75% boost before i ever leave the line and be at full boost within 200-300 rpm's :) Should definatly be a fun ride on the street/track

Kool. When are you getting it put on?

Now here's a Titan with a turbo in it's future that doesn't sound like a pipe dream. Good luck with the installation Toomny. Please post videos when you are done.

me and a good mechanic friend are going to do all the fab work, he installed my cams back in 07' He was the first mechanic outside of jim wolfs mechanics themselves to install them so i have total faith in his ability :) Not to mention he also has 2 bad *** trucks himself 1 is a turbo diesel, and nother is a 11 second 64' ford /w a 383 stroker motor in it...

I'm figuring late july or early august as the timeframe for install

Nice. Cant wait for the outcome.
