No offense, but to me it just makes it look like the car's got a battery/charging system that's on it's last leg. Just not my cup of tea.

Having said that, most LEDs aren't very tolerant of high temps like you'd find in a headlight housing. What are they doing/using to extend the life of the LEDs up there?

Now what exactly is the purpose of this?

i think it would be like having brighter running lights
And you might be right. I'm sure some of those pics don't give the true color of the yellow. But I'm not a big fan of DTRL either, so I'm not a fair person to ask.

i have no idea about the temp tolarants.. some of them just used a 194 bulb

my brother had a prelude with one single blue led in each housing. it just kinda made the light housing glow blue when just the led's where on. and when the lights were on they made the lights have a blue tint.

it looked good on his, but that amber is throwed. im not liking it at all.

So.. running lights... you mean like parking lights? They aren't automatic on Titans... So you need to turn the stalk nob... Then the parking lights and full brake lights come on... and you just want bigger parking lights? Why not just get '08 or '09 headlights with the 3" yellow eyebrow on top?

Sorry... just don't see the need or purpose of this except to look "rice".... :gotrice: Maybe I'm just an old geezer.... :dunno:

Just a heads up about the red LEDs up front. They're HIGHLY illegal.

Ahh, legal-schmegal. As long as it looks cool.

Sorry.. gotta agree.. It doesn't look "cool".. .It just looks like the battery is dying.... :dunno:

Might be true, Kiloms. If it is, they reached that conclusion entirely on their own. I do my best to keep a very low profile with them. They didn't like the clean look of my truck without a front plate, either.

As for the red LEDs up front, that's not going to be limited to just the Texas DPS I bet. The whole emergency vehicle/law enforcement only thing.

I hear you loud and clear. Around here, some of the sharks will pull you over if there is any weird light inside your vehicle...Friend had a red LED light inside that lit up with the bass, it was under the back seat of his Cheby, and one of the local coppers pulled him over and made him shut it down because, "It is a distraction to himself, and other drivers on the road..."

first of all, what happened to your T?? why's it say "TOTALED" in your sig??

i'd be careful w/ blue or red, as the others have mentioned. my cousin's wife got pulled over a while back for having those hood LEDs (the ones that replace the wiper fluid squirter outter thingies) that were blue because they impersonate LEO.

and if i'm not mistaken, when you overheat LEDs it basically fast forwards their life span and they will die rather quickly. that's not to say i haven't seen it done. this one was pretty creative but even the guy who did it for a customer said that he understood that the LEDs were going to die quickly, but the customer wanted what the customer wanted...

ps: i think it would look good if you lit up the projectors for city light purposes :) would have kind of a mean glow to it.. IMO

il probly be going with orange so i dont have to worry about it.
